Publisher in MT4 doesn't publish anymore?? - Pip Cop

I'm experiencing a situation whereby my MT4 doesn't publish anymore..

I've click several times to execute the test but it just doesn't publish.

anyone expereince this problem too and know of the resolution?

I've seen the same thing with IBFX. I think it has something to do with an update they made to the statement recently. What broker

are you using?

i'm using Forex.com

My MT4 has been running for like 3 days and no matter how many times i click on "test", the journal doesn't show any new entry.

Then i tried to untick the checkbox to disable the publisher and then tick

again but still same.

Although restart of MT4 works but... i thought it shouldn't be the correct way and am wondering if anyone faces the same problem as me too?

Can you tell if they changed their statement? And is there any error in the Journal log?

Do you have the "Passive" box checked? That helps me some times.

it stuck at "Publisher: Starting" then on top of it are my trades history and further on top of that, i see 3 lines of "Old tick

nothing else already. Till now i haven restart my MT4 coz i'm puzzled what exactly the problem is?

Brokerage problem or MT4?

I'm hosting it on a VPS

I have had multiple MT accounts where the publisher just stopped publishing. Nothing I did was able to fix it.

I belive the only resolution is a complete de-install of MT and re-install. Make sure you know your account number and trading password before you uninstall.

am i able to re-install over the existing metatrader root folder with MetaTrader application closed first?
