Heads up - RoboMiner & GT-Shadow price increases 3-1-2009

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that on 3-1-2009 the minimum prices for RoboMiner and GT-Shadow (purchase from those links at current lower prices) are going to go up substantially. Therefore, if you are thinking about purchasing, now is the time. Remember, you can choose a monthly plan to save money.

I don't normally like to engage in "fear" marketing, but I feel it is my duty to give the community a heads up if I can.

On March 1st, 2009, the prices will be increased as follows:

RoboMiner
Lifetime RoboMiner - $497.00 (was $397)

Additional Lifetime - $249.00 (was $199)

Monthly RoboMiner - $39.99 (was $33)

Additional Monthly - $20.00 (was $19)


GT-Shadow
Lifetime GT-Shadow – $697.00 (was $597)

Additional GT- Shadow - $349.00 (was $297)

Monthly GT-Shadow – $59.99 (was $45)

Additional GT-Shadow Monthly - $30.00 (was $24)

Is the monthly price like a payment plan and you own the robot after a certain number of months or is it just like renting it, and keep paying forever? P.S. Thanks for putting together a great site!

The monthly plan is like renting - it goes on forever. They used to offer a plan where you would own it after 24 payments, but don't do that any more. I would like to offer something like that payment plans, but haven't come up with a solution yet.

Sorry, I just think it is a bit steep to be bumping the price up for virtually no support.

I'm planning on rolling out a support forum specifically for the product, but of course anyone is welcome to start their own thread or ask questions in the current review threads.

As far as RoboMiner, I haven't received a single support request.

As far as GT-Shadow, it's more advanced, and the expectation is that traders will experiment with the strategy tester, but there are a few resources. However, I do answer all questions sent to me, and if I don't know the answer I send them directly to Jerry and he replies.

I suspect the biggest reason why there is no Contact link on his site is because Jerry is overwhelmed with questions and that is preventing him from further developing the code. He's changed his fulfillment process to have 3 resellers, and asked that we field the "tier 1" questions. This removes about 95% of his workload. Anything we don't know we ask him, but now it's a fraction of the emails he receives.

Overall I have to admit I only have about 3 people who have ever asked questions. It's pretty low volume if you ask me. But, as mentioned, I am here to help, and have Jerry on my side too.
