Default [Comment] Robominer Pro: Demo testing on EURUSD

Hi guys,

I've set up 3 demo accounts to demo-test Robominer Pro on EURUSD pair using Forex.com UK, 1:200 with starting balance of $2000 USD.

Feel free to comment on my progress so far

Demo 1:
1) FIFO = 101.5 and Balance Factor = 2000;
2) Start Range = 1.1640, Trade Range = 9, Instances = 489, Center = 245, Shift = 0;

Demo 2:
1) NON-FIFO and Balance Factor = 2000;
2) Start Range = 1.1640, Trade Range = 9, Instances = 489, Center = 245, Shift = 0;
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/denn...d-nonfifo/3999

Demo 3:
1) NON-FIFO and Balance Factor = 2000;
2) Start Range = 1.1640, Trade Range = 40, Instances = 110, Center = 55, Shift = 0;

Btw, in case you guys wonder how i got the start range = 1.1640, i use lookbackmonths = 60

the 3 demo accounts were started in same day and start of trading time thus can compare whether FIFO or NON-FIFO has higher DD;lower equity level and which system has longest opening trades

Updated demo 3 to NON-FIFO as i realized testing in NON-FIFO is alot better than FIFO .

Demo 1 shall remain as FIFO still

I've sent a message to Jerry to check that out. I don't want to test it on my account, though, as I don't want to close all my trades!

It does work, here is what he says:

Quote:
I actually did it on mine. It starts going through the close process, but the brokers server can only close so many at a time. So after several are closed, it seems to hang, but is actually trying to close more trades. If he switches to a different time frame and then presses F7, it will open the settings box. Then if he presses OK, it will continue closing. He may have to do that 2 or 3 times until all trades are closed.

is there any improvement on that?

It's tricky because it's really the broker slowing things down, but you are right. I'll send that feedback to Jerry.
