Why are my trades different than the trades on PipCop accounts?

If you are running an EA on a demo or a live account, and the orders being placed are different than the ones here on the site, there are a number of reasons why this could be:

1. You're using a different brokerage. Each broker has a different data feed, so the data isn't the same.

2. You started your EA at a different time than the review, so it is making decisions at a different time.

3. You have a different acccount balance. Some robots take into account the size of the account.

4. Your brokerage server is on a different time zone. Some EA's only trade at specific times during the day ... or not.

5. You are trading on a different currency pair .

6. You have not installed the EA correctly. Check the "Journal" and "Experts" tabs to see if there is an error. If so, you need to fix that. Typically you've put the EA in the wrong folder, or are missing indicators (or they are in the wrong folder, too).

7. You have not enabled live trading in the MetaTrader Experts options.

8. You have failed to review the documentation for the EA and have set up the options improperly.

The bottom line is that you need to do your homework and learn more about how these systems work. If you've never used an EA, go read up on how they work!

If you want your EA to perform like the reviews here, you must use the EXACT SAME SETUP as what is being used. Even then, there is no gaurantee it will behave the same. Remember, this is risk investing, not a "sure thing".
