Well, PipCop's not a charity and might as well benefit from any sales his site generates as a result of the EA he reviews.

I'm not worried until I see PipCop manually hacking the statements to make the EA's seem better.

I think he was also linked to a referral scheme for Yoww and got scammed along with everyone else

I sure hope you don't think I'm biased by trying to raise funds to support the site. I want to run live accounts for ALL reviews in the future, instead of doing demo then live, and I just simply afford to do that on my own. I hope folks can understand this is an expensive venture to test all these robots. I also hope that risking my money (however best I can raise it) is used solely to benefit the community and protect them from risking their money.

Since I've started the site, I know that of at least $6,000 in real cash has been lost by members who went live with robots and posted their failed experiences here. I wish I could have helped them before they did that with my own review of the same robot on a live account.

I do sincerely hope the community feels the same way.

you pretty much are recommending them by having that link there.

it just looks, very very bad. like youre just a front for these goons rather then the police of them.

no wonder robominer gets the thumbs up despite its very concerning drawdowns.

good luck with the project. its here im bailing out (not that ill be missed).

I honestly don't have the time - or desire - for that. Just this week I had a hard drive fail in one of my servers, and I spent a harrowing 8 hours trying to keep the server from losing all it's data. Then I waited impatiently for 4 days for new 4 hard drives to come in (which I paid for out of my pocket). This weekend I have to shut the server down, swap out drives, extend the array, and hope it will rebuild the data before Sunday evening trading goes live. I also have my day job. And to top it off? I've got the flu today.

Besides, if you've read my Trading Journal, you'll see I ran www.RS25.com for over 7 years. I am well known in the community. I never made much money, but I am always trying to look out for the little guy.

Yeah, that was a bummer. I had sent them 532 visitors, and assuming 1% of those folks had made a purchase, that would have been a little more money for a live account. Then they up and screwed us all. At least I didn't lose money!

Oh, and I have to mention, the first sale I made from a RoboMiner monthly lease? The customer tried to ask for a refund immediately after I sent him the robot. So now I have to worry about him charging me back. I only make a few dollars on the robot, but if he charges me back then I lose the cost of the robot, plus what I paid to the wholesaler, so it's money out of my pocket.

I'm taking a little risk here folks, all for you. Please let me know how I can help alleviate any fears.

My goal is to have a store where all robot and their affiliate programs are listed. If someone wants to buy, why not buy through me and help support the site? People are going to buy anyway, right? I can't think of any other way to raise $200 for each live account for each robot to test. Perhaps you'd care to fund the accounts and give me power of attorney? Or someone else with tons of cash wants to? My goal is to run each new robot on 3-5 live accounts from inception. That's $600 to $1000 each. I've already tested 40 robots. I don't have $40,000 (and probably never will, no matter how much I sell on the site) but perhaps I can get a few good tests in. I think that is worth appearing biased.

I'm sorry you think I am in cahoots with any authors. However, to me that means you have not done your research. Are you reading the statements? Are you making your own decisions based on data? Are you doing your own independent demos to see if your results match mine? Did you ask around about who I am? There is tons of information out there, and it's your choice to use it to make informed decisions or make snap judgments. But ... you have to do your homework.

If you had tested RoboMiner on your own, you'd probably see it also performs the same. And please note that I have left the RoboMiner demo up and running, with all of it's drawdown , so as not to "pull" it right before a potential "crash". Besides, it does not meet the criteria for excessive drawdown of 50% or more of account balance. If you would like to suggest another rating, PLEASE do so. Do you think we should have an icon for ... what ... 10% drawdown ? 20% drawdown ? I am open to suggestions. It seems unhelpful to do a "hit and run" though.

And, if you've read the Quick Stats Icon/Key, you'll see that no robot is endorsed until it has gone live for a year.

As far as bailing out, I always hate it when a dissenting voice is lost. Without opposing points, then it may as well be the blind leading the blind.

Members like yourself contributing to the goal of the site by pointing out problems and offering solutions is what will make this site better. If you choose to complain and leave, then the site will be no better off. If you would like to be part of a community, please take it upon yourself to BE a part of the community.

Please note: I have updated your thread title from "Bias" to "PipCop is biased" to be more clear and attract more attention. I welcome the feedback and opinions of the entire community, good or bad, and want everyone to know that there will be no repercussions to those who speak out.

I will of course answer all questions put to me.

Oh yeah, I just wanted to add in my defense that the prices for RoboMiner and GT-Shadow are the lowest that Forex Goldmine authorizes.

You are welcome to buy from www.Forex-Goldmine.net and pay a $2 higher price, or buy from the only other authorized reseller for a LOT more money:

http://www.daytradeforex.com/recommends-RobominerEA.htm

They have it for $497, I have it for $397. They sell the monthly lease for $45/mo, I sell it for $33/mo.

See what doing your homework comes up with?

I am also trying to come up with a way to allow buyers here to finance the cost of the full robots over 12-24 months. Currently you can either buy the full robot, or lease forever, but not lease to own.

Well done PipCop. I don't think you could have stated your situation more clearly.

I personally am not concerned that there will be any bias on this site. I wasn't before and am not now

When finances allow I fully intend to support this site through a donation.

I think a PipCop Store is fair enough.
After all if you're going to the trouble of buying and testing the things, you may as well get some commission for your efforts.
And if people use this site to make an informed decision to buy a product, why should they have to go elsewhere to find a store?
