| Nice pic Pipcop I especially like the copy of the Windows 2000 server book on the shelf. I am a real fan of running old OS's especially when dealing M$. I still widely use Win2K

| | Guest | I'm glad others have similar issues about the independence of the reviewer.
However, on a wider issue, I'm not certain what value all these EA robot review sites have because I can almost guarantee that every single robot will fail longterm. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that the future price of a currency pair can be predicted simply from its past price. No evidence at all. In fact all the evidence points to the FACT that it cannot be done.
There is evidence that EAs that can take in data from other sources such as news could be of longterm value but those purely based on past price information don't have a hope in hell of working longterm. Why on earth d'you think the people that develop them, flog them ? Because they can make more money doing that than using them. They know, so follow their lead and run like hell away from the whole concept. Wise up guys and stop hoping. It aint gonna happen. | |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Frankly, I'm also glad people are skeptical. Too many people take everything advertised as the truth and apply little to zero thought and are subsequently ripped off.
I also hope that my long term reviews will also show that most robots cannot sustain long term trading. Of course, that'll take time, but that's what I am here to do. My last site has been running for over 8 years now, and I plan on doing the same with PipCop. So stay tuned ... for a long, long time. |

| I'd like to add my 2cents as well. If I find something that works, what do I do? I recommend it to my friends. Why? Because I like to share. :-) In the process, they will probably have to buy whatever I am recommending. Does that mean I am "on the take" or getting some sort of kickback from the manufacturer? Nope.
Think about the effort it takes to set this site up, add robots, respond to comments (James has always responded to mine) and all the other 1000s of things a site like this takes to maintain.
Go to other "Forex Review" sites and do you think they flag ANY robot as a piece of crap? Never. Think about the robots that have dropped off his list over the months. What happened to them? They failed the basic tests.
If James was on the take, he'd be pimping FAP TURBO like 3 million other people out there. I come to this site, see what James is testing, get a demo for myself and run it. I cross-check my results with his. For instance, PipCop alerted me to the fact that Turbo on IBFX is a loser. I started checking results, and sure enough, go to their site and check their IBFX accounts. Turbo is dying. But I got that from this site.
If James trusts something that he has tested and he is looking for income to maintain the site and feels he can recommend it, I say he should be able to. Doesn't mean I have to buy it. (I don't like Robominer.) But it means that he personally feels he can recommend it for a variety of reasons. Maybe James needs to spell out his relationship with Robominer more clearly, but frankly, if I was James, I would do the same thing.
James: Thanks for doing what you're doing and don't sound so defensive. If you had something to hide, you would never have left this thread running. Stormin Norman is entitled to his opinion and I'm content that there isn't an issue here that I need to be concerned about. |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Thanks Kat, I appreciate your perspective and comments. I admit I was defensive at first, because it caught me off guard. I pride myself on being honest and ethical, and was a little miffed to think that someone would suggest I was (basically) some kind of con artist ... Especially with the whole "Cop" theme! Now I realize the site speaks for itself, and I am sure people are wise enough to decide if they want to trust my site or not. |
