How to save/post a statement from MetaTrader - Pip Cop

Here's how you can save your own statement from MetaTrader:

1. Click the "Account History" tab at the bottom of the screen. (Tip: If you can't see it, press CTRL+T)

2. Right-click anywhere on the trades and select "Save as Detailed report". Be sure to save the file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop.

3. Find the file (statement.htm usually) and right-click it. Select "Send to" and "Compressed (Zipped) folder". Follow the directions to put the statement into a .zip file.

4. Post a reply (or new thread) on the PipCop site. If prompted, choose "Go Advanced".

5. On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.

To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

6. Submit your post!

Looks good, but how do you link to the site to view your stats? I don't see anything obvious to click on or an URL to use

I have no idea!

I was talking to MasterPipper and he says the site has been around for years. I think you have to sign up and then they tell you?

A quick google search shows lots of MT4Stats pages using different URLs. Aha, use your username in the URL and it works.

et voila: My EA Demo Stats.

That link in the previous post no longer seems to work. I get the following message:

Howdy guys!
Im the owner of Mt4stats and can tell you that there was some downtime indeed due
moving to a better server (100mbit to 1gbit) and an upgrade as well.
By increasing demand I've added small images which you can place on your weblog etc.
Most people only want to show their totals instead of a huge list.
Anyways, thats all and happy trading guys!

edit: pipcop, this is a nice site btw, comparing different ea's, keep up the good work, really interested, gonna subscribe as a real person myself too here soon

(im using fapturbo v36 and so far... i think about -10% since 3rd dec08 using fxpro, try using activtrades, they are the best for fapturbo imo)

Hi Hans,

As you've noted, I (we?) like Mt4Stats

It just needs a little more work on the user-friendly front

If you have a place where we can place suggestions for improvements, that'd be great, I have a few simple ones in mind. I thought I'd seen links for About/Contact/FAQ but they've disappeared
