Blessing 2 robot review - BUSTED! -$4269

From Forex TSD and AZJeff comes this latest recommendation, the Blessing 2. I'm going to stick this on the EURUSD H4 with all default settings, starting balance = $5000 (setting change), and see what happens. Apparently this is a pretty complex EA, though, so don't be surprised if I restart this with more optimal settings!

UPDATE 2008-12-09 - There is a new version of this robot, 4.5, which is also attached now. However, it is NOT trading live (yet) as I will replace it this weekend.

Hello PipCop,

With that set file on a $5k balance you will be fine. It will be interesting to see which grid ea's are the most profitable with the least amount of DD.

This is for AZJeff: I now have both blessing 2v4.3 and eurusd m240 4 decimal.set on my desktop. how do I load these on my meta4trader? How can I have manual for these? Blessing 2 is doing fine.

The .set file can be loaded by clicking F7 and then the "load" button.

Thanks, I know how to load an EA but none of these ends with .ex but .mq4 & .set , where do I place the .set?

You know when you load the EA, and the box pops up to change the settings? There is a button at the bottom that says "Load". Click that button and load the set file there.

Hey Pipcop,

I'm having trouble doing a backtest with this ea.. its not making any trades at all.

I have the test set on EURUSD, H4, Control points. Date set at 2008.01.01 - 2009

Any idea why it would not make any trades??
