Have you read the icon key? That means it had over 50% drawdown

for 1+ weeks. The only reason why it doesn't any more is because I manually closed the trades, as indicated earlier in the thread.

I'm demoing EvolutionV now its up 1000.0 in two weeks 3k account 400:1 I think in another 6-8 weeks I'll know if it's another dud..

I tend to agree. However, I may have to put it off a few weeks until I get enough money to fund another live account. I have currently funded one live account which I have slated for RoboMiner. After that, I'll pick another one and I may as well do this robot.

I have spoken to the author of this robot who informs me there is no demo version of EvolutionV available.

Would you mind letting me know where you got it from as I'd like to demo the most current version of it really as it'd be that one I'd be taking live if I decided to do so.

I must say I am a little concerned over this robots behaviour, without knowing the mechanics it's difficult to ascertain why it does or doesn't do certain things and this can be frustrating when something seems obvious.

Take for instance today at 3AM GMT (according to MT4 log although this can be wrong), it opened 4 identical buy trades.

Also I had a lot of sell trades left open as the EUR had gained against the USD a couple of hundred pips since yesterday afternoon, this is fine, however today the EUR retraced and put these open sell trades quite firmly into profit for over an hour and the robot just left them sitting open when in the past it would close trades that were far less in profit.

Maybe these are bugs of the X version that aren't in the V version or maybe I just don't understand the intricate workings of the bot. I do notice that my trades (especially the 4 identical ones) wasn't mirrored in PipCops' test.

We shall wait and see I guess.

I got the demo when I purchased the full version, its gonna die too just like the 100's of other EA's I have purchased and demoed over the past 4 years..I've attached a screenshoot.

Despite some decidedly odd behaviour from this bot it has returned over 13% since being started on 12th January 2009 on my demo account.

Obviously this is far too short

a time-frame to be making any judgements but it does seem to close trades sooner than other bots and not leave a large floating P/L
