| I have an IBFX mini demo, leverage 1:200, and started with about $ 8,000. System is taking trades with EvolutionX mini, but such minimal lots, each pip is only worth one cent. Do I need to change some ssettings?
Thanks |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Sounds like you have the lot size too small for the leverage . This EA review is running on a 100:1 leveraged regular account. You are running 200:1 on a mini account, which will make a big difference. And which version are you using? The mini version or the regular one? |

| The float is huge.. it keeps holding the trades and open multiple lots (martingale style i.e. 0.2, 0.4, 0.8) to compensate lost.. If keep trending for too long, this will get MC. I have tried it last time, the equity up % is too slow. The "floats" is the problem... |

| I am using the Evolution_X mini on a IBFX mini account with 200:1 leverage .
I already changed 'lots' in the EA from 0.01 to 0.1, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

The "floats" is the problem... | This is a problem indeed- Didn't realize this was its trading style till after you had mentioned it, as now I have 10 trades open (5 buy / 5 sell) but all are at .10 so I was going to argue the point .... However, looking at PipCop's demo account, I see it has indeed "martingaled"... .10, .20, .40 etc. - Also, the Float is HUGE! - He has $1800 in negative float against $1800 in closed profit (give/take on both)... but that's still a huge risk...
I run Jitterbug for martingale - as it places hedge orders if things get too out of whack - plus it will TRY to go back and recover negative trades...
Since this appears to really be a martingale EA - I'd propose running Jitterbug against it on a /CHF as it has good swings -
Just my 2 cents

Peter | It's hardcoded for EvolutionX = 0.1 lot and EvolutionX_mini = 0.01 lot, it won't make any difference if you change the lot size because the code don't follow the variable but the lotsize in the code. If you want to change, you have to open the mq4 file and modify accordingly... I found that one of the code between EvoX and EvoX_mini, there is a mistake Ahh... I stopped this EA in demo..... |

| I'll drop him a line and see.... I know he's super protective about his code(s) - but if it stayed in-house only for PC... Could be a boost for him... |
