EvoX needs utmost care when handling it... Here are my 2 cents based on experience with the ea:
1. 0.01 is the minimum position setting. The expert changes the position size in the course of time basing on its inner algorithm (I do not see any parameter that controls it) -- this changing of position is probably the reason for the ea name, it "evolves" from very small positions to bigger.
2. I also noticed that it keeps opening new positions, but it somehow "does" not know that they should be closed even though the profit is quite considerable, then it lets the profits slide into losses etc. and when it takes the profits they are not too large.
It would be quite helpful if the author of the ea documented the ea properties.
For me the biggest problem with the EA is to watch it keeping opening positions that are apparently counter to the main
trend
and see how they baloon in red. My instinct is to cut losses so I sometimes close the most "losing" positions.
The snowballing of positions is the reason why I would not try it on more than one
currency pair
on account of 1500$.
