Also it seems that the mini version has some sort of 'all positions closing' feature that makes it easier to avoid large drawdowns.
In looking at your mt4stats.com, is it a live account you are trading on and are you using the bought version not the one on the first post. Are you thinking about trading any other pairs?

This is a demo account. The "full" version of Evolution seemed to me much too "dangerous" for using with a live account. In the case of mini version a trial on a small live account seems not so bad.

I use the ea from the first post of this thread.

mt4stats.com stats that I am presenting are a joint result of demoing EvolutionX and Robominer (however, the account balance trimming is solely the result of Evolution activity and my manual closing the losing trades)

Jail Help!!!!!!

I don't know if anybody can shine some light on what I may be doing wrong. I am using Evo X mini on a 1600 account with all the default settings. It has no problem opening trades, but does not seem to close very many once they are in profit. I am using it on the four pairs, and have like 50 open orders. Do I have to change the TP ?!? The other thing is that I have lots set at .01 but it still opens orders at different sizes!!! Does this have something with the TotalProfit 0.0 setting? I want to like this EA and would love to take it live someday, but it is simply frustrating at the moment. Thanks to anyone that replies.

EvoX needs utmost care when handling it... Here are my 2 cents based on experience with the ea:
1. 0.01 is the minimum position setting. The expert changes the position size in the course of time basing on its inner algorithm (I do not see any parameter that controls it) -- this changing of position is probably the reason for the ea name, it "evolves" from very small positions to bigger.
2. I also noticed that it keeps opening new positions, but it somehow "does" not know that they should be closed even though the profit is quite considerable, then it lets the profits slide into losses etc. and when it takes the profits they are not too large.

It would be quite helpful if the author of the ea documented the ea properties.

For me the biggest problem with the EA is to watch it keeping opening positions that are apparently counter to the main trend and see how they baloon in red. My instinct is to cut losses so I sometimes close the most "losing" positions.

The snowballing of positions is the reason why I would not try it on more than one currency pair on account of 1500$.

Four pairs? You are supposed to put it on one EURUSD M15 chart and leave it alone. The lots are fixed, you cannot change them. Well, I don't leave it alone either. Right now I check every day around the (US) market close and if my equity is at least 5% higher than the day before, I close out all, and start from scratch. I don't know if I ever go live with this one, after surviving a 72% drawdown on a $ 5,000 demo. But I am not sure yet, one demo finished just before doubling up, on the other one my VPS got corrupted from outer space or whatever two days ago as I was up 50%... Somehow the mini version traded differently, so I put the Standard on an IBFX micro $ 1,000 demo.

Peteronmaui (What a great place to be!!) is correct. This ea is ONLY for EURUSD.
You can change the buy, sell parameters manually to suit trend or set both to zero
and let the ea figure it out.
Why not e-mail Zainuri? And you'll find him on Yahoo messenger too.

Trading Evolution X standard on $1000 starting balance is throwing demo money away

It will start with 0.1 lots and it will take it just a while to drain it.

I also started cropping Evolution mini. Whenever I see that there is a bigger amount of positive positions I close them, because it seems that ea somehow keeps them forever...

Not quite
On an IBFX micro account it does trade 0.10 lots, but those are mini lots, so one pip equals 10 cents. So starting on a micro account with $ 1,000 is like trading the same EA on a standard account with $ 10,000 where one pip equals 1 $. The micro is up 49% in a month, even though I lost about 20% when I had to close down a lot of positions after my VPS got corrupted and i had to reconstruct my platform from scratch.
