EvolutionX robot review

While i did some back testing. I realised that a few times it'll just end with the account being wipe out. After analyzing the results.. It seems that you cannot let the open orders stay too far away from the current price. eg, don't let your draw down grow too big.

I like Ivo's idea on closing all open orders when equity is doubled. This will prevent huge drawdown and keep accumulating on closed profit.

Would you be able to program the EA for your money management ? Eg:

Starting Balance = X
Target Equity = X * 2
When Target Equity is true then Close all open trades.
Withdraw Amount = New Balance * 0.25
New Starting Balance = New Balance - Withdraw amount.

Would appreciate if you could help write this EA. It'll be place in any open chart just to monitor the Balance and Equity.

My demo account is imploding now, after opening 9 shorts on EURUSD Evolution will not have a chance to close them before "margin call", judging by what is going on lately with this pair.

However, after reading Sandisct's messages, I think I will give a try to Evolution for mini...

I have 3 accounts (Alpari-Uk, IBFX & Forex.com). Currently using it. Before this, i am using Fapturbo.

I bought this EA 2 days ago. My alpari grew from $3k to $6k. (Now u know why I ditch Fapturbo). My IBFX from $2.2k to $3.2, my Forex com from $700 to $1k. This EA helps me double almost all my account.

My method is slightly different from Sandisct. To avoid the hugh DD, I put pending order on the support & resistance (0.3 lotsize of Buy & 0.3 lotsize of Sell). so Once it hit the pending order, the buy & sell trades will activate.

So far, my max DD is always not more than $400 for my alpari & forex com. For IBFX, as of now, DD is $15.

i am so amaze by this EA. Whenever the pending trades become open trades in alpari & forex com, the EA very quickly break that 0.3 lotsize down & cash in the profits. For IBFX, it is a bit slower to break down the trades. But, when it close, it close in big profits.

Hopefully that helps.
Right now, I have bought it for my FXOpen. it will starts with $1.5k. I hope it can also double my accounts with this mini version.

Hey Sandisct,
i had some time, so here is the EA. I had no time to test it, so please test it on a demo account first.

After the EA closes all trades. It will be set as DONE. It won't do anything else anymore till it gets restarted. So remove and put it again on any chart.
Put your Deposit-Amount in bStartingBalance as explained in the input.
Alert messages will appear if Equity >= 2x StartingBalance. Telling you what it is doing and what Withdrawl should be made and what to do next.

Does it mean that you manually set hedge positions for each position that EvolutionX opens? In this case, the ea would need constant supervision, because as far as I can see there is no way to control the number of open positions in the ea properties.

First question is you said you bought it meaning you are using evo V? as evo x is free and can be dl on the first post. Second question is the .3 lot size for the pending order I assume is for a standard account with orders being placed at .1. How long have you been using this EA and could you post your stats using mt4sats.com? Last question is how hoes the EA take control of the pending orders without it being the one placing them originally?
