Hedge Rocks robot Review

Via a Private Message comes a request to test the 'Hedge' Rocks EA, which is attached to this post, and can be found here:

The author has an extensive writeup, which indicates that it's pretty new and buggy. It also gives several warnings upon starting, so I don't know how this one will perform. We shall see.

It is running on the default test settings.

This one seems to be taking off. I'm impressed so far

Mine just closed it's open trades when it hit the drawdown limit, lost 1700 on the USDCHF and GBPUSD pairs. There's still another pair open with a loss of 1200 that is about to hit it's drawdown .

It had been doing well, good job it's not live :-)

It didn't blow the account, but it hasn't performed as well since

Mind you, I hacked the code to reduce how much it could drawdown , and I think I may have crippled it

The drawdown is hardcoded to ~3x the take profit setting. I got annoyed with seeing $300 sitting there for days before dropping off. Now it'll TP at ~150!
