| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Sorry, I don't have an answer to that question. However, if you email Jerry at his site I am sure he will get back to you.
When he does, would you mind posting the response here so we can know as well? Thanks! |

| | Rookie Pip Officer | I have a question about lot size when using RoboMiner. I have RoboMiner installed and working but I keep getting a message asking if my account is set to trade only 1 decimal lots. Does this mean I am only able to trade.1 lots or is there a setting for .01 lots? I'm assuming this is a setting within the Metatrader platform. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jeff
p.s. I just looked and it is trading .1 lot sizes. How do I change it to .01? |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | That is a message & setting from RoboMiner, and can only be modified by changing the settings of the EA (not MetaTrader). I am not entirely clear on the desired results, or how to obtain them by effecting which changes, so you may want to check on the RoboMiner website. I am sure it is documented there. |

| As kind of a follow on... Maybe for the folks at Forex-Goldmine, as I don't see it answered really in their FAQ's section -
But the DEMO here is trading .02 lots (2 decimal) - My DEMO is trading .12 - but am using a $25,000 account -
So my question is, can this be traded on a lessor account? i.e. $500 or $1,000 vs. $2,000 suggested?
Thanks-

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | I believe it can. The lot size is calculated based off the balance in the account. As the balance grows, so does the lot size. Look at this months statement and you will see it adjusting the lot sizes and making a little more money, and look at the equity graph and you'll see it bending upwards a tiny bit. |

| Thanks - Kinda figured that - but their site was pushing the 2K min - and suspect that's for DD's... though this pair has been relatively stable - Just loaded it on EUR/CHF and is doing even better
-Off topic-
You gonna allow avatars on here? Also, you may wanna place "donations" under the donut so peeps know....

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Yeah, DD can kill ya, so I am sure that's why they say to start with more.
Avatars will come later, for now I prefer to focus on the content. You'll find that's my long term every cherished goal.
I never really had much luck with donations on any site, so the donut is more for fun than anything else. |

jimmy b | i think the difference between ibfx and 9the recomended one fxdd, is you need the 200:1 leverage instead of 100: ,all about math calculations to avoid a margin call |
