Hey PipCop,

I have an Alpari micro account with 250 bucks. How do i set the lot sizes to 0.01. Also i would like to try the other pair. The nzd pair is a 20 pip spread

...My question is, is it even worth trying on a small account balance with this ea...btw great work yu do here.. i have been burned alot with people selling bum ea's..thk for taking the time to look at my post

Hi Jimmy,

I believe the RoboMiner sets the lot size automatically. However, as this is a commercial product, you should contact Jerry at Forex Goldmine or review his site as I believe he has his system fully documented.

I am not sure about trying it with a different currency

. When I was setting up this EA, Jerry made it very clear that his EA is designed exclusively to work on the pair it's running on now. Seeing as how it's had 100% profits, I would not recommend risking a different pair with a live account - that would be foolish in my opinion.

Finally, I am sure it will work fine with a small account. Clearly your profits will be smaller to start with, but Forex is not a get rich overnight system. For most investors, it's more like a 3-year plan. You should set a goal for your monthly profits, keeping it small and safe, and let the equity build over time. If you carefully at the current statement, you can see as the balance increases so do the profits.

I started using RoboMiner on a demo account with 2 different brokers. My question is in regards to the time on my computer versus the 2 different broker

's times.

RoboMiner started a trade at the same time on both of the broker

demo accounts but the times are different. My computer is set for Arizona time which is now the same as MST. Arizona doesn't observe DST. So the trade started at 3:31PM on my computer. The 1st demo account started the trade at 22:31 and the 2nd demo account started at the same time but said 00:31. It appears they are 2 hours different. I'm not sure how that correlates to my computer's time but I'm guessing they might be GMT.

Any ideas why they show 2 different times and more importantly, is this affecting the trades? I hope was able to clearly explain what is happening.

The time zone issue is one that has confused me for quite some time, but one of the developers explained it like this:

My understanding is that the Expert Advisor

uses the time zone of the brokerage server. Therefore, you will probably see a difference in the time zone for the brokerages you are using.

I did what was suggested and they are indeed 2 hours different. That is very interesting. I will watch the trades and see if I find any major discrepancies. So far they are identical.

i see yu tested this system or ea on interbank fx..I have a small account with them..So the system automaticallt went to 0.03...just wondered how it did with interbank fx.

Hey James,

Sorry for the questions..I have looked on the site and cant find the answer, What i was getting at, do you have to have a minimum balance of 1k, 2k or 3k for this system to work..? As stated i have a small balance, just dont want to waste 27 a month if it will not work on my measley account lol....thanks sorry for the question...
