My demo account opened 3-4 trades last Friday. Hope it will manage to TP . But the strategy seems like we don't have to look at the charts everyday. As suggested on the gold-miner.com check the trades once per month lol. But I can't do that :P

FWIW my .02 cents-

I'm on my 4th week now of testing this... Both "conservative" and aggressive settings-

It does seem to have a Martingale aspect to it... So, if you're working with a small starting bankroll, I'd be very careful-

Secondly, if the trend reverses - you're screwed - Like many EA's it doesn't handle reversals well...

I'm up (like PipCop) about 10% with conservative settings... Whereas I'm about to bust out (blow up) the aggressive settings demo.... DD's were terrible (but agree, nothing like Steinitz)-

Point is - this EA did great for 2-3 weeks, then nose-dived... You have to watch it

My demo copy of RoboMiner is doing ok but its still selling AUDNZD and this pair has recently made a bull move so my four open trades are in drawdown . Because of the small lot size, the drawdown is small (nothing like Forex Robot Trader/Steinitz HAS).

It's it's in the high side of the "grid" so will only do sells until the price goes to the low side...then it does buys only.

OK here is a long cut and paste from yahoo groups explaining how to manually reset/"switch" the EA to get more profits. You should really understand how this EA works before attempting this. I demoed for about 4 months before going live over 2 months ago.

Thanks for the post JoeShmoe.

I will need to have a good read of it and scratch my head a few times before it becomes clear , but thanks.

Big thanks JoeShmoe for the post

Like NightFX, I am going to have to read it many times before it sinks in.

AUDNZD has turned short so most of my hanging-around sell orders have now closed and RoboMiner has reverted to low-drawdown .

Hello Everyone!

My results since 25/11/2008 for AUDNZD & EURCHF H1
Last trades were manually closed, when Equity & Balance got close to each other (see Eqbal.gif) ... at least I'd do that if it was my live account .

By the way, great site Pipcop!

Hi Ze0202

Great result ! Can you please explain the losing trades early in the list ? I am up 13.83% in 5.5weeks with 1.14% DD this is with spread at 20pips & no losses, I wish Alpari would drop spread to a more reasonable level

Best regards
