Hmmm, how did that one buy sneak thru the electronics?

Never mind, just perused thread back so many posts and found there was setting ewrror during server transition!
BTW, my newly developed EA "Invisible_fx_Landscape" also doing only shorts as a result of looking at 3 months back-tests over 3 months, reason I bring that up is MT4 puts-up an error-like window to inform that a buy is desired by EA but that it won't happen due to settings (in so many error like words). Each time that window pops-up and it does a computer jingle, and when you have EA re-attempting to do trades (per parameter I have of 5) it's a bother while looking in server sometimes! LOL

1ka is going to put that selection feature in parameters, just an idea you may consider.

I wish I could, but two weeks ago I didn't know what an EA was. I don't know enough to go inside and tinker with the code. At least not yet.

This is probably because the EA will not open a trade if ANY other EA/Manual process has opened a trade on the same currency

I've modified the code and have attached it here.

Changes:

Code reorganisation, hopefully I've not broken anything.
Added ability to use ADX. Turn it on with UseADX=true and the EA will only trade when the ADX is above the ADXTradeThreshold. You can set the ADX Period with ADXPeriod.
Added parameters to control whether the EA trades long or short (EACanBuy, EACanSell).
Set the SL with StopLoss.
Defined a parameter for the magic number (MAGIC_NUMBER)
EA only looks at it's own trades.

I'm currently running some optimisations for various settings and will report back here when done.

Here's a picture of the MT4 optimisation run. Take your pic of the best settings. These were for EURUSD M30 from the beginning of the year until now. The EA was configured for SELLs only.

I like the looks of the 2nd one! Problem is any selected line needs hold the cursor over it to read the variables.....but this is a pix, so please tell me variables for 2nd line so I can enter into my GIANT running of an $8 IBFX live$ MT4, thanks.
David, no prob I use these variables found in optimization by 1ka?

1ka says to me this is for AlpariUK, so what do I do for my P.SAR_$8 thread? I'm on a mini-demo, and have used your original EA except you gave me a mini version recently. It still is market bouncing around, and wondering if such regular optimizing to get optimum performance is needed on my MT4_IBFX-hooked-up.
