| Thanks Guys,
I am now wrestling with whether I need GT-Shadow or not. Since Robominer can trade the two pairs and generate a decent profit, I am thinking...not.

| No, you do not need GT-Shadow. I have not used any of its advanced features yet, apart in testing. Plain vanilla GM should do. I am thinking about adding some other currency pairs, but taking into account the fact that RM currency pairs work very well, I do not really find enough incentive for it.
The only reason why I bought second GT license was the fact that I would have had to pay ca. $500 for new GM license and I paid $350 for additional GT license. |

| Thanks pipdetector,
As I suspected, Robominer should be enough to keep my account busy and happy.

| Hi Rick,
The problem is you will buy RoboMiner now and then end up buying GT-Shadow later on, thereby paying twice. |

We'll see,

| Gt Shadow Do you like FX Pro. there allot of bad reviews on the net about them but sometimes reviews are dishonest too. I demoed prospector on FXCM the other week and made 7000 bucks. I guess I will buy Gt shadow instead of robominer as i can trade different pairs. Can you trade different pairs on the default settings. I love robominer and their new EA Prospector. |

| I am wondering that too. If Gt does more than robominer but is the same for the aud/nzd and eur/chf pairs then why not just buy Gt. |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | GT Shadow is far more advanced than RoboMiner, but it does include a settings file to make it trade like RoboMiner does. The nice thing about that is that you can use it like RoboMiner, and then test it's advanced features as well. But really it is designed for people who want to tinker with it. For other people who don't want to do that, then RoboMiner is designed to be more "hands off".
As far as FXCM I have not tried them so I cannot say one way or the other. As with any broker , you need to do your due diligence and check out their policies, spread , payout program, etc., and be sure it works for you. |

| Grid weaving? Hi to all you gold miners,
Has anyone tried the grid weaving feature in GT-Shadow? It seems like a good idea. Maybe I will run GT-Shadow default on AUD/USD, and another clone of GT-Shadow on AUD/USD running the grid weaver to see if it works and if it makes more money than the default.
I still cannot make sense of the hedging feature, although I have run it a couple of times for a week or two.
I was running the Shadow on GBP/CHF the last two weeks; but it looked like it was going into a drawdown ; so I shut it down and closed out the trades manually. I am still running the Shadow on AUD/USD and EUR/CHF. So far so good. |
