Yeah, I just did a Google search for "FXCM micro" and it was the first result.

FxPro ,InterbankFx and FXDD incresing spread on Fapturbo tread's time( at midnight).
I could see several night. The spread was up to 10-15 pip. They would like to eliminate Fap's user.

So the Fapturbo'robot can't tread for you.

But alpari is rock&roll.It's great.

So basically Alpari is good for Fap T users, but what about forex.com (GC) they claim to have low spread as well?

Btw, big thanks again to Pipcop for taking his time and having patience in answering a few questions in the Private messages

But for how long??

If you will recall Alpari was the broker everyone was having problems with first. They were the original broker that the FAPT developers used, and when FAPT was first sold everyone piled onto Alpari.

If you go back to the FAPT users forum and look at the postings from Dec, you'll see countless complaints from people who opened live accounts with Alpari and found them untradable and losing money. Since then a lot of users have switched to FxPro, and others, looking for a better spread . Meanwhile the developers have been in negotiations with the brokers, trying to find brokers who wanted their business. After all this robot could be big money for a prefered broker if they could handle the trades better. But it seems that whoever gets hit with the volume widens their spreads to compensate, both to protect themselves and to profit from it.

If Alpari gets the business back it will probably happen there again. The only reason their spreads are lower now is everyone pulled their accounts in Dec and Jan and switched to more attractive brokers, particularly FxPro, now we see their spreads widening as well.

These are reactive actions and are necessary as the marketplace compensates and adjusts to this new player. Eventually everyone will develop methods of dealing with this robots trading habits. Whenever you have a lot of people all doing the same thing in a concentrated space it is bound to produce a reaction. The easiest way for a broker to compensate and profit from this robot is to simply widen the spread when they detect an excess of trading. Watch out for spreads that widen after the trade is entered, you enter on a 4-5 pip spread and it suddenly becomes an 8-9 pip spread to exit!! The brokers are not stupid, they do not want you picking their pockets, that is not how this game is played.

Since we've gravitated to the important subject of brokers, I've done some looking around and found some from off the main path that are MT4 providers. Their posted spreads seem reasonable (at the moment). I'll mention them here and if anyone has good or bad experiences with them, let the rest of us know.

FXD24, AL Trade, FXT Swiss ($2,000 min acct, fixed spreads), FX Open.

Any comments appreciated.

for the exact reason in post #74 will be why robot traders will always have to be upgraded or altered..... im not trying to be Debbie Downer...... im still gonna try..... the only robot trader that can work will be if only a small number of people have it.......you can keep changing brokers but eventually you will run out......i have been reading the posts and the good robots work for a bit but then you must upgrade or change it or change brokers.....can anybody tell me if they have a robot that works and a broker that is consistent with the robot...... I must say this site pipcop so far has saved me money from purchasing and finding out the hard way... thanks pipcop

I think (??) one has to check whether a small one is an IB to a big house (in which case how can they have smaqller spreads?) ......-OR-...... whether they are sufficiently funded to not be closed down by Feds, no? The latter as small houses I could scarcely believe, not to be a pessimist, but that's usually how this goes.

Default ECN Brokers

Hi guys,
on the subject of brokers I think we can improve this EAs performance by switching to an ECN broker . Currently MBTrading is testing their mt4 platform and they have 1-2 pip spreads on EURGBP. Is there anyone who can advise on using a tradecopier program from alpari to mbtrading?

ECN brokers have tight spreads on eur/gbp only on european and usa session. During the night (asian session) they get even wider then MM brokers. When you add commision, it's really not the way to make money. Night scalpers were very good untlil they got so popular, now we have to wait for couple of months and see if this popularity cools down, maybe then the spreads will come back to normal
