It is designed to run during the Asian session and does not trade on Fridays either.
(Did you not read the manual?)

FXPro does have eurgbp!

Useful info on the FapTurbo forum - look especially for the Market Sentiment advising whether on not to trade.

If you do not get trades, look in the Experts tab and you will see why. Typically because the spread is too great.

Default A reply to number 15 post.

As far as I can find out all brokers increase the spread . The Asian session is less liquid than the main session. If you look in the Experts tab you'll see that often the spread is too great, though often by a small amount. Do not be tempted to increase the settings in FapT! I've been running live since 18th Dec and the graph is upward with a couple of kinks. My fault, if I'd read the Market Sentiment in the Forum I would not have left the program running during the Christmas period and not left it open to trade on the days against advice. Will take more care in the future!
Any (successful) trader will tell you that the hardest part is waiting and not trading. Never regret the profits you could have made, only be glad that you did not make the losses that you might have had.

Simmo,
are you using the default settings for FAPT. I had this settings for a week but no trades with alpari uk. Spread is 5 pips. Should I increase max spread ?

Hi Mitaji.
Yes I use default settings and trade only eurchf and eurgbp.
(My LRR is 5 but I can't remeber whether that is default.)

It will be risky to increase the spreads!

Don't forget that the market would have to move by more than that amount before you hit profit.

Patience! The whole market is in a jittery state because of general World conditions.

I assume that you have adjusted the gmt offset to suit your location and broker ?

I use FXPro (Not to be confused with FX-Pro!) but wondering whether to change to Alpari. Or some other broker . (Changing brokers might be like pulling a plant up to see how the roots are doing...)

Scalper default LRR is 5. Long-term default LRR is 1.

Thank you for mentioning that. I went back and looked again and realized FxPro has an additional menu for "Forex Majors" at the very bottom of the drop-down menu which I did not see. I went in there and found the EURGBP, so I switched the robot over a few minutes ago.

I have also updated the first post to reflect this change.

I did not restart that robot, though, as it didn't have any catastrophic issues, so we can try to keep all these reviews in "alignment" with each other, to some extent.

The EA is programed to trade from 21:00-01:00 gmt. If you set the Offset to zero these are the numbers it will trade on your brokers time. If you look at a few days worth of charting with volume you can see the dip in volume and directional volitility during this time period. This is what the robot trades, back and forth in the range .

You can adjust the GMT Offset to change when it trades. It simply adds time to the internal settings to delay the robots trading.

A lot will depend on the size of your account and the risk level you allow the EA to trade. FxPro has the better spreads with 5 digit pricing, but doesnt offer micro lots. This would make it a problem to use the money management settings on a smaller account.

Default My Broker is 3 pips on eurgbp

I have just switched to a Swiss regulated broker that us friendly to EA's and has 3 pips during the hours Turbo runs. Send me email at [removed by pipcop] and I will give you my referral link and you can get the maximum rebates for your trades too. I have been chasing the spreads with brokers since before Christmas and finally found one that is steady.
