What are you talking about? It works pretty much as it always has. They just came out with a new update FAP-T 50, with a new trading pair, the usdgbp.

The fact is, its always had big ups and downs. It needs a broker with very tight spreads on its trading pairs. It trades at off hours, which affect the spread a lot. It runs very wide stops, which inflict a lot of damage when it takes losses.

This is a night scalping robot, what do you expect? It started as an experiment to improve the original FAPS, which is still questionable, and became this scalper instead.

It works very well sometimes, and takes losses at others. Figure out a good way to control it better and it could be great. The problems are not that it doesnt trade well. It trades very well. The problems are the frequent large losses. If we could eliminate some of them, even if it means missing some trades, it could be much more profitable.

The USDGBP seems to me the most interesting pair of all that I traded with FAPT. It has much higher liquidity than all the other pairs, so large crowd of FAPT followers does not seem to affect it so much as the other pairs...

This has always been a big problem with FAP-T, illiquid trading pairs with poor trading range and wide spreads, wide stops, and a few too frequent losses. The USDGBP should help, personally I would like to see the EURJPY added as well, actually I would like to see the restrictions removed so we could trade any pairs we wanted, it seems every broker has its prefered pairs. I think they're playing a game with the pairs they allow, letting a new one out every now and then just to keep the interest alive.

I could not agree more. I see no technical reasons for restricting other pairs other than keeping the existing users interested and baiting the new ones. Megadroid proves that they could have added EURUSD to the traded pairs as well...

Well then I do not know what is the problem with my FAPT,it used to work though it scored a few pips here and there,then a big drawback takes it back again leaving me with less and since I installed the FAPT50,it has not taken a trade yet.

Maybe your risk factor is quite high and the new balance makes it impossible to trade if you cannot trade microlots. Also you may have the option to trade microlots switched off (as far as I remember it was not enabled by default).

Try to lower your risk level and check out the option related to microlots.
