| The only money I have lost so far investigating was Cool Trades which is a so called stock autotrader but you have to be a 30 year stock market technician to figure that system out. No refunds either so I lost 39 bucks. Stay clear of that one . I should have know any service which wants 150 bucks a month to follow Cramers's trades is a loser |

Some day I will find a decent EA, I am not good at trading anything so I have to autotrade with an honest and reliable advisor which is not easy to find. Thanks for your reply | You don't need any money to open a demo account.
So far I like the RoboMiner robot (I'm trading live with it.) However, I need to move to a non NFA regulated broker and start it up again. It's made 10% in a few months. Some other people have doubled their account balances with it. It's pretty slow, but so far I have not had any losses.
And BTW, if you haven't lost any money, then you have not learned anything either. We learn by making mistakes. You know, it's like falling down to learn to walk. So go ahead and risk some of your money so you can learn.
My first account was a $250 account with Forex.com. I traded manually. I made $750 profit ($1000 balance) in a few weeks, then changed my strategy and lost it all. I learned many lessons that I could not have learned otherwise.
So ... don't be afraid to learn. Just learn with SMALL accounts, not big ones! |

| You are 100% correct. I plan to do the same thing. I almost made a mistake with Fat Turdo and their ridiculous 10,000.00. deposit. They must have a deal with Dukoscopy to split the money the suckers lose. I just got my money back after I threatened the cat. I guess I will trade with a trader on Collective 2 and do a small account on a forex broker . Who do you rcommend as a good overall forex broker . Don't recommend one that pays you like everybody else cause I won't go through your link. That is all I need is a good broker and I am good to go. I am signed up with FXCM and FXPro but I do not know anything about them and they do not pay much so they are on the forex communities sh list.

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | I don't recommend any brokers buddy! As you can see from my tests, each broker behaves differently with different robots. One robot may fly on Alpari, but another robot comes out the worst on Alpari. They all change their deals all the time anyway, so I can't keep track.
Bottom line is you get to do your homework. Find one with a low spread on your currency of choice, that supports the trading platform you want to use, who has good customer service and a good website, the kind of accounts you want (mini? micro? nano?) and try them for a while with a little money.
I use IBFX and Alpari. They do okay for me. YMMV. |

I must admit that last year was a real eye opener for me. I started quite big on live account, but I was losing all the time, at this point I reduced all my live accounts so that I trade only microlots (difficult to lose much at one go) and I started to do my lesson on eas.
I fully concur with Pipcop regarding GM.
BTW, PipCop I think that this exchange deserves a separate thread, because we are getting away from FAP Turdo |

| Thanks Chief I am not afraid to lose money, I have lost allot in 20 years. I just want to make sure if I lose the next time I win and then win over time, losses are the way of trading. I just want to try not to get wiped out so I can survive for another day of trading. i will be diversified and I plan to autotrade stocks options, and futures with colective 2. The forex advisors stink on collective 2 so I will eventually start making money with a Forex EA and a decent broker . Your right each broker is diffferent and changes all the time .just have to try em with what currency pairs you are trading. i am a positive thinker and I am a firm believer if I spend enough time looking I will get where I want to go. I never give up. Patience and persistance is the key.

| Why are they making money with FAP Turbo Hello Traders,
Fap turbo does not seems to be making money here at Pipcop but is doing more than OK on 2 small live accounts after 40 consecutive weeks (FXDD +26% and Alpari US +66%), I am just wondering why that is, anybody has an answer, these guys seems genuine and make a performance video each week.
Feedback appreciated http://www.fapturboreview.net/ |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | It is making money, just not very much. It closed a trade recently. However, you're right in a sense - it's not really "making" money. $7 in profit doesn't wow me. However, the other site you mention has some better settings which are probably why they are doing better. So, compared to the "out of the box" recommended settings, their settings are probably (maybe?) more aggressive, hence the better results.
It just goes to show that sometimes you can do better with a robot if you play with it yourself. |

Meanwhile, I am looking at Robominer and must say I don't feel at ease investing with it when I see that some trades are still open from November 2008.
