I did not remove the old version at all. Whoops!

Its more likely that you didnt update the .dll file. Theres no noticable exterior difference between the old and new file, but not updating it (a simple write over) will produce the error you mentioned. Having more than one version of FAPT in my menu never seemed to affect the running of a new version, although I have removed them as they no longer work.

The overall profits in this testing are still very poor, compared to my own results, although Alpari does seem to be doing fair. I think most of the problem is trying to use the default settings too strictly. The risk and spread filter needs to be adjusted for each pair to trade well. The settings of 5% risk and 5 pip spread are just guidelines to safeguard newbies. The risk should be set by the potential loss, and the spread filter needs to be adjusted to fit the particular pair. On a dedicated account with no other trading going on a 5% risk setting will never produce enough profit to make it worthwhile, and a 5 pip spread filter simply wont trade at all....

On the default settings the profit and loss parameters are as follows:

eurgbp, SL 112, TP 6
eurchf, SL 53, TP 5
gbpchf, SL 75, TP 10
usdcad, SL 58, TP 10

This does not mean it will hit these numbers. It often takes profit at less than the limit, and generaly takes losses in the same range as the profits. But these are the internal limits and should be noted when setting risk levels.

I updated all my MetaTrader instances to V222 without any glitches. This includes my live account and four demo accounts. FYI, I am running both V37 and V45 Pro of FAP Turbo.

FxPro updated to v221 and then v222 automaticaly with no problems, but FXDD hasnt, both live and demo accounts. When I wrote to them about it they said I would have to download a new copy to get the update....

Default MT4 updates and FAPTURBO

I updated MT4 on my live account and haven't had any problems. I did have an incorrect GMToffset for my first day of trading and took a little loss, but on the way up now. A couple of percent in a week isn't bad. Continuing to follow.

Few news about fapturbo:

Quote:
Recently there has been a huge buzz out there on the new FX-Megadroid robot. While we endorse other robots that are hardly worked at.. (and the guys over at megadroid surely do) we are still confident that with fapturbo you have the one and only robot at hand that is capable of making you very very wealthy longterm.

We compiled a little new statement for you that you can checkout.. even with high or at least reasonable spreads Fapturbo is making a killing!

PROOF URL:

http://www.fapturbo.com/fapturborocks.pdf

but there is more, keep reading!

NEWS Nr 1 BROKERS FINALLY DECREASING SPREADS!!!

As you know high spread is the main disadvantage which prevents fapturbo from its most effective trading. However more and more brokers are finally decreasing their spreads

after 3 months of high spread period. That is really great news for all current and future fapturbo traders!

Alpari is going to decrease spreads on 16 currency pairs including popular EURGBP and EURCHF! New night spread will be 4 instead of 5! That means fapturbo clients have much more possibilities for successful trading.

IBFX has announced the upcoming change to 5 digits in price quotes which also should decrease their spreads. Please note fapturbo automatically detects 4-5 digit brokers and there is no need for any adjustments on the trader's side.

FXCBS is adding more liquidity providers and going to decrease the spreads as well. Their minimum deposit was reduced from 10k to 2K.

FXCM reduced their variable spreads in the end of March as well.

SUMMARY: Fapturbo trades will be much more profitable in the future.

That`s why we love the success and the hundreds and thousands of people that already doubled, tripled and quadrupled their accounts (for proof just check our local forum!!).

It is now time to max your accounts friends and 10x your starting capital!

Hi,

Ive been running FAP Turbo on two £2000 live Alpari accounts for the past 4 months with generally good results. One account is up 73%, the other 34%.

I would make the following suggestions to anyone using it -

1. FAPT scalper is very sensitive to broker spreads. Anything over 5 pips severly restricts the profitability of the EA. So, make sure you have a decent broker .
2. Only use it on EURGBP and EURCHF. The other 2 pairs are too risky and not worth the trouble.
3. Check market conditions daily. Dont trade if the market looks volatile or during major news releases.
4. Dont trade Fridays or during holidays.
5. Consider limiting trades to 2100 - 0000 GMT. Most loosing trades seem to occur in the last hour 0000 - 0100.
6. Forget the long term strategy, it's hopeless!

Overall FAPT is a pretty good scalper that can achieve results with a bit of care. Also, the FAPT support forum is an excellent rescource full of useful information.

Happy trading.

LadySarah,

Thanks for sharing your advice! After running FAPT for a couple of weeks I really appreciate it -- I am definitely going to implement it in my FAPT account.

FAPT is going to be expanding the user adjustable parameters on the long term EA in the next release. It will no longer be tied to the 1M time frame. This alone may improve the usefulness of this EA, but it is still FAPS. I have tested FAPS every way I can think of, it can produce good profits for a while untill it holds a losing trade and blows up. But, I will certainly be retesting this once these parameters are opened.

Default Thanks LadySarah

Good comments LadySarah. I was doing pretty well on my little $250 account, up about 4%, but 3 trades in a small time frame took me down by 6%. I guess I should be glad FAPTURBO executed the stoploss or the drawdown could have been worse. I will try tweaking the trade times and see if that helps.
