rating site, I am using FXOpen on a demo acct and so far the results have been impressive after only 15 days. I'm up over 8% and there have only been 2 losing trades, very low drawdown

.

I'll try a real acct after more testing.

As usual, there's a problem with FAP Turbo. After updating to the latest version, which is supposed to be good until May, I am getting an error saying it has expired. I've emailed tech support to request a new version.

For such a heavily advertised robot, one would think they could get a version out that actually worked. This is a pain in the ass.

I just started with liteforex.com and they were fast to process my funds... but noticed in (live/cash) trading some very wild spikes - like 60+ pips on the 15M timeframe EUR/USD... I'd personally never seen this before, but heard others complain about it (regardless of broker

Interesting. That spike issue is one that I have heard of before and seen many complaints for various other brokers. I would be displeased with that.

The licensing of FAP Turbo is, by far, the worst part of that EA. It's a real pain like you say. I have to check my accounts running it every day. Fortunately, I have not run into the terrible issues that some (including you) have had.

Their tech support is okay, though. They replied to my email and explained what I did wrong:

Hi pipcop,
I keep seeing ECN MT4 brokers advertising on your site. Should we perhaps add them to the testing account and see if there will be a real difference.

Yes, I've started adding them into new reviews. PFG Best recently started, so I put them on the Grail review. For all new reviews I will be doing the same.

I thought about adding them to older reviews, but that would make it harder to compare performance on a "by day" situation if the main robots had been running for a few weeks and then a new one has only been going for a few days.

Changed the lot size from 0.1 to 0.01 with a live account at $250 and it started trading. That part is good. So far, though, 3 losses and one gain. OK, so I am still only down 99 cents. I will need to re-check the GMToffset to ensure I am set up correctly. Could just be a bad day. That is why a small real account is so vital.

I didn't load the new version of metatrader 4 on the live site. I didn't see on FAPTURBO that it would have any problem, but I was a little nervous about changing the metatrader version. Anyone having problems? Is it working alright with real accounts?
