| Thanks again Pipdetector,
GT shadows, with the NFA rules what broker would you use, is Alpari UK appropriate. Does it need to be ECN. What pairs do you use and what are the Robominer settings. Did you buy the software or do you lease it. I am noticing that the GT shadows results her at Pipcop are not that good for the current month, what about your results, might it be because of the new rules. |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | Yeah, GTS and RM have appeared to suffer this month due to the NFA and FIFO changes. However, they will probably be MORE profitable now as they will hold onto all open trades and close them all at once at the time the trades are all profitable.
Previously, each trade would close as the market passed the grid mark - every 40 pips or so. If you had 10 open trades, then you'd make about 10 pips for each of those. Now you will have 40 pips for each open trade, which will be more profitable, less swap , but will take longer to realize.
Personally, I liked the non-NFA way of trading, so if you are with a non-NFA broker you will see the same slow and steady results. I need to put GTS and RM on a non-NFA broker to show this result. |

| BTW, I guess we should change this exchange to GT-Shadow or Robominer thread.
As a matter of fact, Pipcop did not have to close the trades -- only GT-Shadow version should have been changed and FIFO property set to true (it is explained by the EA author in detail). The trades could have been closed in profit even after the FIFO rule was introduced...
I use AUDNZD and EURCHF pairs, but I am thinking about adding USDJPY. Alpari UK should do. ECN is not necessary in case of this EA as the spread is offset by closing the positions after it is discounted in the price (you need to enable an appropriate setting). I bought two licenses (for two different accounts). I think that leasing it does not make sense if I am to use it really long term. |

| Legally selling MY copy of Extreme EURCHF at Bargain Price HAD SEVERAL OFFERS MUCH LOWER THAN PRICE ASKED, WILL ACCEPT $120 AND EXTEND SALE UP TO FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST. GUARANTEE IF YOU CAN'T INSTALL IT AND HAVE IT WORK PROPERLY, I REIMBURSE.
Hello traders,
After using an EA for the first time I find it way to stressful for me. I have been trading for 8 years and it seems I just cannot let go and am watching this EA day and night to the point where I have become so tired, the solution legally selling my one and only copy to one and only one person.
For people who might wonder, courts around the world have decided to treat software and e-books like printed copies. Which mean you can sell your used copy like you would a book , as long as you respect certain rules: discard the files once it is sold, put an ending date to your offer . (see court say reselling software is OK http://www.techdirt.com/articles/200...16171201.shtml and ebook copyright and selling conditions http://www.digitalsecrets.net/secrets/Copyright.html).
I am selling the original files (ECN and dealing desk) and all documentation; I will also support the software if need be, I know it very very well.
The price is $145.00 and is payable by Paypal (the software is worth $299 http://www.fxgtc.com/performance.html). The offer will end the 25th of August at 12:00. If you are interested please write private or at rexall007@yahoo.com, remember I sell only my ONE copy to stay legal and ethic.

| Pipcop,
Xtreme CHF shows -10000 profit and 0 equity on the left side panel. XTreme had a couple dips recently, but definitely it is not that bad |

| Selling Xtreme EURCHF TiKin, TiKin, you are getting too stressed out. If your palms are sweating, just lower your risk level or lot size and let your poor robot do the worrying. Check it once a month or so. Also, take Pipdetector's advice and buy RoboMiner or GT-Shadow. They are great robots! |

| Not all robots are created equal There was some discussion above about robots which did not all catch the same trade do to different brokers, or live and demo accounts.
I commonly run about 6 clones of each of my robots, live on IBFX. Even when all six are placed on identical time charts, they do not all trade at the same time or close at the same time. Some of them miss the trade completely.
Why is this? In order to prevent 10,000 copies of say Fapturbo all trading at the exact same second and swamping the brokers' platform, the developers throw in a random number generator to space out these trades over maybe a couple of minutes or so. I do not have access to the code; but from my clones' behaviors, I suspect this random number is generated at the time the robot is dropped onto the chart; since the clone which trades first, usually trades first; and the clone which trades last, usually trades last. This makes sense; since one would not want to spend time running a random number generator every time a trade is made. A few clones will repeatedly trade more often than others. If a clone tries to trade too late, it may get hit with repeated requotes, context busy, or other errors; so that the trade signal may expire before the trade is made. Hence, sometimes 1 or more clones will miss a trade. |

| Trend button There was also some discussion about the trend button: Long/Short, Long only, Short only; and that it might be too much trouble to deal with, so it gets left on Long/Short. My advice is to go to the weekly and monthly charts and determine the long-term trend . Then set the trend button accordingly for all robots. This will reduce the number of trades; but should increase the win/loose ratio. I have noticed Megadroid's losses are usually when the robot goes short against the EUR/USD upward trend . |
