| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | ForexHope.com - Dreambuilder-FX (DTS-1) Forex robot review From www.ForexHope.com (makers of Pointbreak ) comes Dreambuilder-FX (DTS-1) which is being tested. Using all default settings except a starting balance of $10,000 and Risk Setting = 1 on the EURUSD 30 minute chart. Due to starting with a $10k account, the Quick Stat balances are DIVIDED BY TWO ($10000 / 2 = $5000) to simulate a $5000 balance for comparison purposes.
From the marketing material: Some Dreambuilder-FX features:
• Small trades are continuously added above and below the opening position.
• The system will use pyramiding, hedging or closing of some positions, depending which way the market moves.
• All trades are closed only when a net profit is reached and added to your account balance.
• Built in money management will automatically calculate the correct position size for your risk level.
• Can be used as a fully automatic trading system, or used to enhance your own trading system. forexhope X6D |

| Do you know if the author will offer any demo's to us minions? -
Also, whilst his results look promising - there's no mention of DD's - Does this trade without a S/L? His results show quite a few large closed trades (losses) - Point being, I'm anxious to see this one in action... and maybe get some of those questions answered (unless someone else knows) |

| | Pip Chief of Police and Site Owner | I don't know if they offer demos, but I doubt it. Their manual that the send out has detailed login information which clearly is given to purchasers. So for now I think you'll have to go off of the demo here. |

| Hi,
I have been running PointBreak on a demo acct for a few months and just went live on a small acct with this EA last week. Another FX trader friend of mine has had a demo going for over 7 months and has been live for at least the last 4. So far, with very conservative settings, it has been a slow but steady performer.
From what I can tell Dreambuilder is based on DTS-1, and DTS-1 is a newer version of PointBreak 5 with more bells and whistles. For comparison see; http://www.forexhope.com/index.php?m...&pcode=DTS&s=9
A full demo of PointBreak 5 and manuals can be obtained here: http://www.myfxtools.com/EA-PointBreak.html
I'm not aware of demo's for Dreambuilder or DTS-1
happy trading

| Hi PipCop,
here is a copy of an account statement for January 2009 with IBFX running DreambuilderFX, and a detailed report on DreambuilderFX. It should answer a few questions on how it works.

| Interesting thing about this robot style, after having run it (PB5) for 4 months myself on my server is that unlike grid or martingales which can accumulate open trades that you never know when will close and most likely remain a danger to an account, this one depends on quotes going outside a range rather than staying within a range to close all those opens. Of the few times I saw it hang onto opens for quite a number of weeks it always eventually closed them all at a profit when quotes went outside a certain range such that the sum of either buy or sells is greater than the other, kinda like a see-saw effct, which child is gonna weigh the most to tilt the see-saw. DTS-1 was the new version, as far as I could see, to control those longish building-up DD's, instead of 50% being worst worst cases I think it's more in neighborhood now of 30%, correct me if I don't remember that right. But anyway, it's darn good EA research persistent gainer over time.

| This EA scared the bejeasus out of me. Never would I use or attempt to do anything that would require over 170 trades in a week! My goodness, this thing is definantly loved by the brokers. And for what, a 200$ profit with a floating 1200$ loss.....NO WAY. Forget it. This thing is SOOOO not worth it. WAY WAY too much risk VS reward. This one will eventually crash and burn.
Just a heads up. |

| I recall that it's best to have running updated info from creator Lin of fxhope.com to run his stuff. This DTS-1 was to be a greatly improved PB5, hardly ever to reach 30% DD, so something might be wrong with settings. Contact Lin to have him monitor. (suggestion)
