I am currently in the process of learning and trying to chose a trading style that suits me.

Perhaps soon enough I will be able to fund some account, I need to feel the atmosphere and check if everything works as expected, if brokers actually let you win money or not (specially concerned with this subject).

As far as brokers go, the two I would eventually trust my money are Alpari and Broco. This last one because it has ECN connection (still to see in what degree it's a pure, unbiased ECN)

I have set two demos at broco with the mentioned set of Experts, both through a VPS, totally recommended.

MY LOCAL TIME IS GMT+2. If you have Broco (like me) or another European broker this might be your server time also. ALL TIMES MENTIONED ARE GMT+2...

Tonight was indeed a bad session (-11%).

I have made some modifications:

Installed isConneted.mq4 - it's an expert I wanted to test for along time. It will log all server disconections to a txt file. I need to monitor if my VPS is having any disconnects.

Installed Swiss Army EA - I have observed that there's no money to be made after 5AM (GMT+2), by looking at closing times of big losing trades (10 big losing trades so far), and 5 out of 10 hit the SL later than 5AM. On top of that, virtually all profitable trades have been closed before 5AM, so there's no apparent reson to have trades open this long.

I AM LOOKING FOR an expert or some mechanism that could deactivate an expert advisor after a certain time (prevent it from opening new trades), and then reactivate some other time later. There is also some evidence that trades opened after 1AM are more likely to end in a loss. If you know of any please let us all know!!!!!

Current Fap Turbo Account Settings (April 25th):

Broker : Broco Demo Account.

Fat Turbo Settings: I think they are quite default, but I have uploaded them. The only way I think I should modify this is by limiting it's trading schedule...

This is what Swiss Army is suppose to do: close all trades at 5AM; I haven't used this software so I am not sure I set these settings right. Also upped them.

I still need a way to 'stop' Fap Turbo from trading after 1AM, any help on how to achieve this will be welcome!

isConnected has no settings.

Some point out that some pairs yield better than others and that for that reason they should be left untraded, but I think this is too much intervention . If tested separetely all four pairs have much higher than 50% chance of becoming risk reducing, and that's what matters IMO. If you were only to rely on one pair, you would have to trade much longer or bigger thus cancelling the supposed benefit somehow.

I will set up a new demo account, that will replace proupin2.mt4stats.com:

·Alpari instead of Broco. Perhaps this way I will get trades with Megadroid and 4WD Thunder
·I now have "Ilan Profit 1.4k", it is a pretty unknown Expert. This will be added to this same account

This week I did not have many trades because the VPS had some updates to run... and did not tell me!!! They have a lame service, pretty rude. I don't have to stand for that so f*** them, I'm switching. Stay away from these people!!!!: XLHOST.COM

I have also spotted some trade copy services and some managed accounts, pretty aggressive stuff, backed up by statements, and a real alternative to Experts. This require real money of course so I am going to fund Alpari pretty soon and keep you updated.
