I had no Megadroid trade on Tuesday 4/28.
I'll keep that in mind but I am running my Metatrader on a VPS. Once, I accidentally closed Metatrader.

I had MegaDroid trades (two of them) on Tuesday but none yesterday Wednesday the 29th.

My only Megadroid trade this week was Monday 4/27 around 21:24 GMT. I don't trade Fridays.

Default Week/Month End Results

It was a very difficult month especially for FAP Turbo.

On April 13th, I suffered the largest trading loss I have ever had. It happened in one trade (hard stop on EURGBP).

Week: $29.12, .063% gain or $5.82/day
Month: -$343.05, -6.8% or -$17.15/day

Starting Monday (May 4th) I am going to be pulling all the EA's from my live account to trade the Forex Ambush signal service. Refer to this thread for all the gory details.

May the 4th be with you...always
Rick

I am into my second live trade with Forex Ambush.

The first live trade was last night with the EURUSD pair. The trade lasted just over five hours and closed with 20 pips profit.

The second trade started this morning and is still in progress. It is again with the EURUSD pair. This trade has accumulated quite some drawdown (20.1% as I write this). I just hope that Forex Ambush's no-loss claim is accurate

Default I keep my thumbs crossed, but...

Rick,

Forex Ambush "philosophy" makes sense to me only assuming that you have $1 million account and you take much smaller postions than they recommend. Then you set T/P. Toss a coin at any given moment and depending on the result take short /long position. If the market goes in your favor you easily score 20 pips. Otherwise, you wait... Assuming that the market was not at it's extreme the price will meet your T/P (taking into account that EUR/USD is rangebound in the recent times, this is quite a safe assumption).

The idea of risking 0.1 lot per each of $500 of your balance is asking for trouble... Compared to this -- FAPT standard risk settings are quite safe even if a series of losses occurred.

One can just wonder how they manage to keep such an impressive record...

Smile Ambushed

Hi Rick,
I hope you have good luck with Forex Ambush; but pipdetector's description reminds me of my first manual range trade on a range -bound pair. I put my stop loss up twice as far as the range , then set my take profit in the range . I then watched the price immediately climb up out of the range until it hit my stop loss. Keep us posted.
Megadroid traded for me 5.4 22:19, closed 23:30 won 16 pips.

jerrycollie & pipdetector,

It's strange that people see things differently.

My comments here are based on Forex Ambush's no-loss claim.

To me, Forex Ambush is a much better version of FAPTS. It trades pretty much the same and it's profit target is the same. The difference is that the 500 pip hard stop in FAPTS is hit and you need to plan for that. If Forex Ambush always closes in profit, the account capital is primary needed for the floating drawdown . As an example, the live trade that I am involved with right now had a maximum floating drawdown of 150 pips (at this point ).

With FAP Turbo, the stop is hit all the time and you need to plan for that by reducing the risk. With Forex Ambush, you do not have to plan for being stopped out.

Smile Megadroid V1.11

Hi Rick,
I guess I would have to run Forex Ambush before I could understand their no loss claim.
My Megadroid went long 5.5 21:44 to 22:27 won 12 pips live on IBFX.

My second Forex Ambush trade (EURUSD) was open for about a day and a half closing with 20 pips profit. My third trade opened this morning with the EURJPY pair. The trade lasted just under an hour and resulted in 20 pips profit.

So far, I am a very happy camper

Default May 4-8 Results

I've got good news and bad news,

The good news is that Forex Ambush opened four trades this week. Three of them are closed and the fourth is stuck in drawdown .

The three closed trades netted me $579.53 or 12.43% ROI. This is a great result for my first week of live FA trading

The bad news is that the current open trade (EURJPY opened Wednesday the 6th at 14:41 GMT+2) is in deep floating drawdown at 47.9% of my balance or 235 pips. This is a scary amount of drawdown but I am hopeful that the trade will close in profit like all FA trades (they claim).
