It was a bizarre week trading my live account. No trades at all. Nothing is wrong with MT4, just no trades.

Hi Jay and Welcome,

Titan was added to my primary demo account on June 8th as documented in post #420

It's a scalper built by a friend of mine that trades two pairs (EURCHF and EURGBP). It's a wild EA that I am running very hot and it is producing great gains one week and massive losses the next.

I just bought the Forex MegaDroid, and i want to know if i should buy another EA to supplement my trading. MD doesn't trade very often, and i, thus, want one that will trade more. What other ones do you recommend? Also, what settings do you recommend for them to maximize returns?

Additionally, i want to thank you for the vast amount of information you've provided on this thread.

BTW, i use ForexMeta broker

Hi Singh,

Thank you for your kind words. It is in sharing that we can all succeed.

I think you should first use MegaDroid alone for a while on a demo account to get used to it and decide for yourself what risk level you are willing to accept.

I have been saying (and doing) for sometime that MegaDroid needs a companion EA. Something that will complement it. Some months ago I choose The Channel Scalper for this purpose. It also does not trade that often and it's trading window is a little different than MegaDroid.

Other people have found other companions. pipdetector uses MegaDroid with an EA called Pipstrider (you can read about this some posts back).

I think you should look around for a companion to use with MegaDroid. But take it slow. After all, there is no hurry. Do lots of reading.

And please, whatever you decide, share your experience and insight with others.

Isn't IamFX a better broker

than Alpari because IamFX offers free VPS?
Btw, i just signed up for The Channel Scalper and will be testing that out in the weeks coming.

Hi Singh,

They should be better because they are an STP, and do not have a dealing desk. Alpari UK is a market maker

(unless you have a Pro account) with a dealing desk and potentially, they can trade against you. In reality, however, the result is different. What I do on a continuous basis is to compare the same EA statement with different brokers. Just recently, I compared Forex Photon across multiple brokers and found a very wide difference. The only statement even close to the demo account I have with Alpari UK is a live account that Forex Photon itself has with FXOpen I think (I cannot check right now because the FF site is down...oh no!

). IamFX also has high commissions compared to other similar players (OneCorp, CollectiveFX etc).

The free VPS thing should not even be considered. Every broker

so far that has offered a free VPS does so as a give-away and the stability and reliability of the VPS is no where as good as a commercial VPS provider. If anything, I am turned off by a free VPS offer

I have been on the verge of switching myself. I even got on the CollectiveFX waiting list for a live account and cancelled when my turn came. There may be a better broker

for scalpers but, at the moment, I am very happy with my account performance.

In preparation for The Channel Scalper, read my review thread here and download the set file I use on EURGBP. Also, watch the development that misterocupo has with the USDCAD pair. I have requested the set file that is being used with this pair.
