Risk level 3.0 means 300%...

According to the manual:
"If you are comfortable risking 5% of your equity on each trade then set RiskLevel to 0.05..."

Your setting should hardly work...

After more than 3 days running MegaDroid still had not opened any trades. I was getting concerned and then I read Batchboy's post in this thread about Megadroid not trading if the version of Metatrader is too low.

I went to update Metatrader on the demo account and Metatrader would not hold the update. Each time I went back into Metatrader the old version 220 would be displayed.

After this, I have decided to consolidate the MegaDroid EA into my high-risk FAP Turbo demo account (rsmerekad1.mt4stats.com).

Trading FAP Turbo on my live account did well this week.

Managed a 7.9% return

Had my first megadroid trade on live account last night. Made 10 pips. Maybe it was after I took the auto GMT offset off and applied my own value, or perhaps was just a conincidence. Anyway using risk level 0.05 and reduce lots = true. Will see how it goes for rest of this week.

So far no trades. I dropped it on the MT4 chart without any tinkering with the properties. It has not executed any trades so far...

My demo account with Alpari UK had three trades last night. Which broker are you using? Also, make sure your MetaTrader is at version > 200. The current version is 223. I had MegaDroid sitting there all last week without any trades meanwhile the version of Metatrader was too low and there were no messages (even in the logs) and no indication that something was wrong.

Last night MegaDroid had three successful trades so I have decided to take the plunge and put MegaDroid on my live account. I am going to start at risk 0.05 (5%) and increase each day if all goes well. I plan to run it at 0.20 (20%).

I also had a big loss in my live account with FAP Turbo last night on the EURCHF pair.

MT4 version is 223 - so this should not pose a problem. I use InvestTech FX. They have extremely low spreads.

As to FAPT: I got beaten on EURCHF, GBPCHF and USDCAD, brrr

I am changing FAPT trading range to 21:00-00:00 GMT -- all the losing trades occured after 00:00 GMT...

Also I am done with USDCAD for the time being.

I know the feeling. I took a pounding last night on EURCHF which is normally decent. I have been running EURGBP on restricted hours for a couple of weeks after it started loosing the last trade of each day.

If you are running V223 of Metatrader and you got a smilely face and there is nothing in the experts log and nothing in the journal, you should be good to go.

I have been running FAP Turbo on USDCAD and GBPCHF on restricted hours in a demo account for some time and they are doing well. I was thinking of slowing putting these two on my live account with reduced LRR 's but I am kind of chicken

I had a reasonably good week this week (not as good as last week). 4.9% ROI.

The week was marred by a major loss with FAP Turbo on the EURCHF pair Monday.

My account quickly recovered from this but the overall profit level of the week suffered because of this loss.

I also added MegaDroid on the account on Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday, it took three trades. All trades were profitable. MegaDroid did not open any trades on Thursday.

I have added the GBPCHF pair on FAP Turbo V45 Pro starting this coming Monday. It has been the most profitable pair on my demo account despite what people say. I have modified the settings so that the pair trades in restricted hours with a modified TP , stop and max spread (see post #1 for the exact settings I am using).
