I have made two changes to my live account:

1. EB-Turbo risk has been increased from 1.5% to 2.0%

2. MegaDroid risk has been decreased from 2% to 1.75%

These changes are part of my long-term plan to phase-out MegaDroid and bring the risk on EB-Turbo to 11%.

I had seriously considered it for a while. As a matter of fact, when I bought EB-Turbo it was a toss between it and Equity Builder. It's doing well over at 4xproject.com. What pushed me away from Equity Builder was:

1. Most of the prior years backtests where not that good (with the exception of 2006).
2. It's uses martingale to compound losers.

It looks like Equity Builder performs well in certain market conditions that happen in a long cycle in the EURCHF pair. It's long-term curve fitted IMHO.

I am still considering it and may still buy it as a contingency plan just in case my primary medium/long term plan fails.

When you get it please tell us all about your experiences and it's performance.

Just under 11% roi and 223 pips in almost eight months is an under-performer IMO. Add to that an average win of just 6.69 pips but an average loss of almost 38 pips.

I will retain MegaDroid on my demo account for now (the demo account loss last night was over 2K) but I may pull it in the future.

Yes, yesterday loss hurt. I play MD on 1H and 30MIN charts so I got it double. OTH, I think that I will leave it as is, for some time. I must admit that I had some bad premonitions when I saw that MD shorted EUR/USD at apparent support line. The price did not budge for almost two hours and then shot upward. I wonder how manual should the EAs be to be profitable

Your're right,

MegaDroid and FAP Turbo sometimes enter a trade that is counter-trend

or on obvious lines of support or resistance

.

I saw that trade last night go sour and at a trade time of five hours, I knew that it was going to end badly.

My objective is to never mess with what the EA is doing so I keep my hands off. I am also inclined to stay away from EA's that require tinkering. So far, it has been a good policy for me.

BTW, EBT just (18:33 GMT) opened 6 EURUSD longs at 1.5094 thereabouts. Target 25 pips. So far, the price is hovering around a two pip range

above or below my point

MD also opened trades at 1.5075 in the recovery mode: so I see that it doubled the ante in the aggressive mode. So far it is in the red... and nothing indicates that it will change

. I wonder what is going to happen if MD loses today's trade. Will it triple the trade size.

OK. Now I see what MD means by recovery mode... it opened additional double trades when the first two trades are nearing stop loss... This night is action packed.

Mine too. My demo account opened a massive 6.36 lot buy which closed for a measly $6.36 (0.1 pip). MegaDroid also opened another trade as you said at 3.66 lots which did really well.

My EB-Turbo longs on my live account are another story. They opened much earlier than MegaDroid and are still open. I realized that this morning is non-farm payroll news day. Right now, the impulse move has moved against me so I have 6 trades opened at nearly 100 pips each in the hole. This is the worst floating DD I have seen yet with EBT. I am scared

but curious at the same time.
