A reasonably good week with my live account.

It was a losing week with my demo account. Otkat took it's first loss which was big.

Both FXNitro EA's have yet to place a trade since being added to my demo account on September 28th.

I have just added the EB-Turbo EA with all four pairs to my demo account.

I made a bunch of changes on my demo account.

1. I removed Otkat after it's big loss (3.5 times a win).
2. I removed all currency pairs except EURUSD from EB-Turbo after reading some backtests.
3. I loaded the set file for EB-Turbo EURUSD from 4xproject.com and changed the risk setting to 1.75
4. I also loaded the set file from 4xproject.com for FXNitro in an effort to get it to start trading.

There are some active EURJPY and EURCHF trades in my demo account from EB-Turbo. Once they close, these EB-Turbo trades close, these pairs will not be traded.

The aggressive mode in EB-Turbo just blew my demo account on 10 EURJPY trades that it opened at the same time I have had to re-generate the demo account again.

I think demo accounts are great The only problem is that they are just a rough estimate of what you can expect in a live account.

My last demo blowed-up-good (to quote a phrase). I stupidly put EB-Turbo on all four pairs in aggressive mode. Almost right away, it opens 10 EURJPY trades. I knew I was sunk but held on just in case it reversed.

Once I get enough Robominer trades in my demo account, it would be interesting to compare average pips per trade live verses demo. I bet they are no where near equal.

How much money has Robominer AUDNZD made me (net including swap /rollover) since August 10th:

Robominer has more than paid for itself and has made me a very happy camper

As I mentioned in my previous post, I had to re-start my demo account from scratch after EB-Turbo blew it up. Here are the results from Thu Oct 15 until the end of the week:

I just added the EURCHF pair using Robominer on my live account and upgraded Robominer to V2.19 also on my live account.

News on my demo account is that FXNitro Fractal Edition finally had is first trade, actually five trades, all winners EB-Turbo is humming along with all trades being winners. I am a bit concerned after EB-Turbo opened three buy's last Thur evening (10:30ET) which are still open and were at 100 pips DD but have moved to half of that as I write this. On top of that, yesterday five minutes after the opening bell, EB-Turbo opened three more trades but these were sell's. The short trades closed in a little over two hours but the long trades are still open.

I just removed FXNitro Fractal Edition from my demo account after it closed one of my Robominer trades. FXNitro Fractal Edition also trades EURCHF but the two magic numbers on the two EA's are different. FXNitro Fractal Edition is ignoring the magic. I sent an email with proof to support. I will put this EA back on my demo account once an updated version is made available.

I also removed the FXNitroLFR EA. Ever since I put it on my demo account, it has been flooding my experts log with order error 129. I reported this to support weeks ago. As yet, I have seen no updated version that corrects this error. FXNitroLFR has never placed a trade.

The one Robominer EURCHF loss was closed by FXNitro in error. I have since removed FXNitro from my demo account and reported the bug in the FXNitro EA. I have yet to hear from FXNitro support on this issue.

EB-Turbo is doing really well, winning all of it's trades so far. It complements Robominer quite well except for the occasional tendency to have trades open for a couple of days instead of the normal 1-2 hours.

Sounds like another good week thanks to RM/GT.

This is what I like about RM/GT they simply do the job. They do not make 100% in a month, but... you do need to be afraid that in a day 25% of your account is gone.

I gave another try to FAPT but it seems that it still suffers the old problem of little profits and big losses (that happen much more often than in demos). MD seems better, but it has been waiting ages for its opportunities recently.

Keep us updated about EB-Turbo, it looks promising.
