A good but lite live trading week for me this week. One Ambush trade and one MegaDroid trade.

Week: $112.72, 1.1%, $22.54/day

Forward testing on two demo accounts with my FL_MACD EA are going really well. The non-VPS demo account has taken eight trades since June 18th. All trades were winners for 52% ROI. The VPS demo account has taken three trades since June 30th. ROI on the VPS demo account was a lot less since there are three EA's on this account so I have divided the risk by three. If the forward testing continues to do well, I will be putting this EA on my live account a week from Monday (the 13th). At that time, I will give Ambush the boot in favour of my own EA.

Looks like you did okay last week.
Megadroid traded for me on July 1st live on IBFX running 6 copies:
1 minute chart won 10 pips.
5 minute chart won 10 pips.
15 minute chart won 9 pips.
30 minute chart won 8 pips.
1 hour chart won 10 pips.
4 hour chart won 10 pips.
It is unusual for Megadroid to hit on all charts, usually it is just the 1 or 5 minute chart that trades. This points up one hazard in running several copies: I have to spread my lot size out; otherwise if all 6 charts traded and lost, it could blow up my account.

Yep, don't forget to spread out the risk if you are running multiple EA's. I am running 3 EA's on my VPS demo account all trading EURUSD and I have divided the lot size by 3 and given each EA one third of the account. Which reminds me that I changed the settings on my FL_MACD EA on my VPS demo and I forgot to reduce the risk percent

I had one trade all week in my live account and it was a big Ambush trade. I managed to enter the trade at a higher price on a sell order

Week $658.40, 6.6%, $131.68/day

It was a fairly quiet week with my VPS demo account. The EURUSD pair (which all of my test EA's are based upon) was ranging and most of the EA's had no trades. About the only EA trading was Boomerang which has been a winner but it enters lots trades and it regularly loses and when it loses, it loses 100 pips as opposed to winning 90 pips.

I just added vForce Like EA V11 to my live account. You many know this EA as it's aka name...Magic Machine (EURUSD H1). These two EA's are the same. The big difference is the settings and there are many of them.

The folks at 4xproject have been running the original Magic Machine for 10 weeks now (as of writing this). It has placed 16 trades starting with the first trade on May 7th with all of them winners. Refer to the 4xproject Magic Machine test page here and the demo MT4 statement file is here.

I am using the same settings that Magic Machine uses. I plan on upping the risk percent once the EA proves itself on my live account.

I had a pretty good week trading my live account. All trades where MegaDroid. Ambush had no trades this week and my first vForce Like EA V1.1 trade is in progress (in DD).

Week: $304.66, 2.8%, $60.93/day

My VPS demo account has been loosing a lot mostly due to testing FL_MACD. I think I have the losses under control but we'll see. Forex Boomerang is barely holding it's own and vForce Like EA V1.1 had a great winning trade this week.

My Megadroid was busy last week trading Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday was a big loss. I should have closed it manually at minus 13 pips; but I let it run to a 52 pip loss. The good news was the other three days more than made up for the loss.
I bought Magic Machine, set it up and ran it for a month or more and never could get it to trade; so I sent it back to ClickBank.
I am still running Maestro. I think it works off of moving averages. It is a busy little robot and I think it would blow up my account if I did not keep it pointed in the direction of the trend . This week I plan to try to fine tune Maestro's settings; to see if I can get a higher percentage of wins vs losses. I think I will set its time to 21:00 to 23:00 GMT, set the take profit to 10 and turn it loose on EUR/USD to compete with Megadroid: The battle of the droids!
So keep us posted on your personal EA. Maybe you can sell 10,000 copies at $100 each!

In my case MD was quite busy too, but it managed to escape a loss on Tuesday with a small profit...

Sorry to hear about your MD loss.

MD traded for me on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of last week. I had no loss at all. Thursday's trade made the smallest gain.

vForce Like EA V1.1 (aka Magic Machine) does not trade that often. Like MegaDroid, it waits for an ideal setup. I also ran vForce for a couple of weeks thinking that it would not trade and pulled the plug. But I went back to it and ran some strategy tests on it to verify the settings (I had to change the stock settings for a 5-decimal broker ). Once I knew that the settings were correct, I let it trade. I can give you the settings file I use for vForce. The equity curve is very sweet. Very few losses. I have ran strategy tests with the risk as high as 60% but once I expanded the strategy test to a longer time frame, those high settings blew up the account. I am running vForce with a 50% risk on my demo account. My live account is using 23% which is exactly what Magic Machine used. vForce is the only EA I have ever seen where the equity curve on a strategy test is consistent going back to 2006. I ran a strategy test (at 50% risk) starting from Feb 2006 until Jul 2009. The EA made it at those settings with just under a million starting from a 10K deposit.

I just re-ran the strategy test from Feb 21, 2006 to July 20, 2009 starting from a 1K deposit running at 50% risk. The finish equity was $207,822.10. 94.64% profitable trades (15 of 280 were losers). The strategy test report is attached.

My FL_MACD EA is not doing that well. I am trying to make a small SL strategy work. The strategy tests say that the trading system is 50% profitable but it can have a string of up to 11 losses in a row. At the moment, the EA is about $300.00 in the red.
