Hi Rick,

I am new in Forex and have been reading your helpful posts. Would you mind sharing your settings with FH? What pair? I posted a comment in FH thread but not yet approve by Admin.

I am very conservative and planning to go live with 10K at 0.01 lot only. Please comment on my settings. TP

35, PS 21, Booster 1.65, Lot 0.01.

I am confused with iStopLoss, whether true or false. Please advice.

The primary settings I use can be downloaded from post #1 of the Forex Hacked review thread. 10K with a start lot of 0.01 is very conservative (about half of what I would use).

Your settings are very close to the ones I use except you booster is 1.65 and mine is 1.7. What value to maxtrades are you going to use. My settings use 9.

I regards to iStopLoss, use the setting I have in my set file. I don't know what that setting does. Don't be concerned about it.

Also, please post a link to an account with MyFXBook so we can all share in our knowledge.

This morning, I received confirmation

of the TFOT refund. Iticsoftware was true to it's word. They made me go through a few hoops to get the refund but I did receive it in a timely manner.

I just requested a refund for Forex Growth Bot. This EA has been waffling around the 0% return ever since I started using it on Nov 24, 2011. The highest the return has been is 4.39% and the lowest the return has been is -10.99%. I purchased this EA through ClickBank, so I should not have a problem getting the refund.

It's set to max 9 trades. Once my live account is up and running, i'll register as well with MyFXBook. I backtested 8K with Alpari, FX Primus, Hotforex...and it survived the 2011 movements. I think i'll open live account with FX Primus, variable spread

Sorry, don't know if this is the right thread, would you still recommend ForexVPS? i read somewhere that your trust was shaken?... or should i go with the Ultrahosting as recommended by FH? maybe not to recommended but your thoughts is appreciated.

8K per micro is a good ratio. It will return about 12% per month (guess).

FXPrimus is a good choice IMHO even though I have never had a live account with them. I have been using their demo's and tested their various types of accounts extensively. Variable spread

is a good choice. Over the long-term, it was the best performer.

This thread is my trading journal so it's ok to discuss anything Forex related.

In terms of a VPS, at this point

, I still like ForexVPS because their platform is so solid and never crashes. It just their support is not that great and they have definite communication problems. The best from what I have read is CNS. Their published network latency is tops (example: latency to FXPrimus server < 1ms from their NYC data center) but this is a high-end VPS. The cost the about the same as ForexVPS but you get less resources (memory and disk space).

Now that I don't have the tricky license issues that I had with TFOT, I am free to change my VPS and I think I will do just that. Look to see me setting up an account with CNS in the near future.

Done, I just subscribed to CNS, got the value edition for 32.50 USD, 512MB RAM.

In their site, they are promoting EA Bogie MA-GAP-2. However, can be tested only within the CNS VPS. Ever heard of it? Can't find much info in the net, it uses Martingale as well but looks like with better money management

. It can be set to close all trades when equity is say 50% of balance only, etc etc. Backtesting can be done also within CNS VPS only.

Regarding Bogie EA, I have heard of it and there is some info out there but not a lot. If you do a search on MyFXBook, I think there are 3 systems.

The good thing about Bogie is that its free to backtest and demo (only on CNS as you said). The bad news is that they want 10% of profit on a live account (using high watermark).

I guess if you want to play around with it, its free. You would be pretty much on your own as far as settings and being Martingale, there will no doubt be lots of settings. For me, once I get to CNS, if I get bored, I may play around with it a bit.

Now that my Forex Hacked live/real money account is operational, I have temporarily stopped trading Forex Strategy CAD1 on my live/real money account. There is a good chance that I will need every bit of equity for Forex Hacked especially when I am running Hacked so hot.

Once I open a second live/real money account, I will be manually trading this account with Forex Strategy CAD1 and hopefully another, more long-term, manual strategy.

Forex Hacked took at loss today. The accounts based on my settings only took a very small hit (< 1%).

The account based on deathlord's settings was another matter entirely. It lost all of it's profit and over 40% of it's starting equity. Because of this, I have decided to kill this account.
