There are some good robots out there. Most don't match up to the packaging and are flawed. All do better in some specific market contitions. It is really how badly they do at other times that counts. Some need resetting to reflect the current trading of
currency 
pairs, but that needs a lot of espertise and accessible settings that are fully understood in the Robot.
If you are looking for 100% returns plus a year then it is unlikely to be achievable year in year out.
Live expert traders like to achive 20 - 30%. So an EA run to its proper settings that is well written that achieves between 10 to 50% per year is pretty good. Robominer was doing this, but too many were tempted by ramping up the settings beyond the guidance.
