That's was also my impression. I used strategy tester in the visual mode and it shows trades as soon as it starts working.

I used all available methods for sending funds: paypal, clickandbuy and wire transfer without any problems. As to Paypal they may have different policies for various geographical regions. I do not know much about withdrawing using clickandbuy.

I looked into GT Shadow, but I noticed it had some far more advanced features than the Robominer EA. Do you tinker with those settings, because I am not familiar enough with EAs to mess around with that too much.

Also, what would you do if you wanted to move FF to another broker ? Consensus seems to be that it runs well with 500:1 leverage , and I'm pretty sure FXDD doesn't offer that. Any experience with FXpro or FXopen?

Anyway, good luck with the FF demo and keep us updated on how it performs!

The advanced features of GT Shadow mean additional potential when you advance in your skills with EAs. I use them sparingly. The most important reason for GT Shadow when I bought it was the fact that it did not have currency pair limitation like Robominer. Right now Robominer has no limitation on currency pairs so I would have given RM more attention.

I am also not advanced with EAs, but I do not like EAs that are complete black boxes.

As to 500:1 leverage I think it is advantage, but it is not a must. Generally GT and RM work well wtih leverages up to 200:1.

PS. Still no trade with FF,

I think FF is very broker -specific. I was doing well with Alpari UK demo, so I switched to FXCM UK demo (since I got a live account with FXCM..just planning for the future), and trades stop after 12 hours...nothing. So switched back to Alpari...5 trades within 3 hours...

i think brokers are killing the money making eas

theres no reason to FF stop wroking unless you installed it wrong... he doesnt care where the market is... he doesnt uses signals... he must have a sell order opened all the time...otherwise restart it.. change magic number... do something

I agree I watched the way FF trades and it is really just mechanics no analitycs as far as I see. Just plain growing the position size until it hits a profit and closing all open trades as well as planned and ad inifinitum.

It is difficult to find any reason for it not to trade at any broker -- unless it is somehow blocked basing on the magic number or some EA signature.

I stopped trying ITFX demo and switched to FXCM demo, but without any results still. The only possible reason that I see for it is that I have the "nonhedge" version, but all brokers that I use allow for hedging so far.

Yeah, I got the smirking face all the time. Interestingly it shows both on the account that I registered (FXCM) and the account that I unregistered (ITFX).
