The spreads on the other pairs will kill you -

You need to run 5000:1 CASH on a 500:1 leveraged account (and even now, I've tweaked mine down to 7500:1 ratio) WHY get greedy?? You "blew up" (the same as I did in Demo) b/c you didn't have enough capital and were trading pairs other than USD/JPY -

The smartest thing I heard was turning off bad news days (usually WEDS and FRI) -- but even then, if you MANAGE your MONEY - you can survive those...

Killer B, would you say FF is an EA that requires close attention? I don't want to continually adjust settings or make manual trades.

Also, I can't really tell, but are you in the US using a non-FIFO broker still, and what settings are you using?

I'd love to try out FF, but I really don't think I have 5k to gamble with. Does anyone know what the settings are on www.forex-robots.com for the competition? FF seems to be performing incredibly well on a small account there. I'd like to know what broker and settings they are using there.

I am running a demo account that I started on 11/6 with 5,000 trading 0.01 and so far it made only $ 41 , which is less than 1 %.With returns like this there is no way I will turn in it into $ 76,000 in 5 months.Am I missing something here ?

the guys on forex robots are running in a risky, they started with 250:1 ratio, not 5000:1 like killber you suggestin...

just to let you know.. thats why they have such nice profits.. and they are luck

How can you be so sure it is luck? Those are the default, recommended settings, no? The only difference is the amount of money in the account. KillerB, would you care to chime in on their results, and the settings used? Is it doomed to fail?

And, it's running on Alpari UK. We can't join that broker here in the states, right?

Also, I just joined the site so I can see everything. I'm not very tech savvy so I get confused easily sometimes!

Beucase Ive chatted with the seo of forex robots. He said they are running it this way because of broker limitations. The minimum lot size at alpari uk is 1,000 units, not 100.

He said they are not running it default and recommended settings.

The recommended is 250 at a mini account, but with nano lots.
or 2500 usd for a standard account.

and the "amount of money" makes all the difference, thats what killer talked about until now

you have to understand how the bot works, and why a well funded account is safe to trade this robot
