Stats and graphs : Balance / Equity

Hi I'm new here and there is something I don't understand so I'm going to ask, sorry if it's a dumb question or if it has been asked before:

All the graphs and stats seem to be related to Balance, not Equity. I fail to understand how stats about Balance are of any use, things like Balance drawdowns make no sense to me. On the other hand the only sets of data about Equity are monthly so we don't exactly see the real drawdowns and the real evolution of Equity at least on a daily basis.

Am I missing something here?

Nope, you're right. MetaTrader only reports on the balance and doesn't include equity (drawdown or profit). At this time, there is no way to show the equity on the graphs, so you have to manually do the math of open trades against the balance.

Thanks for your answer, there are a few other stuff I wanna talk about later, but for now I'm just reading quietly
