FPA - Competition for PipCop - Pip Cop

The Forex Peace Army (FPA) have started soliciting ideas for EA's to test, similar to PipCop. There's an old announcement here.

It'll be interesting to see if their results match PipCop's. (That's if they ever get around to doing something

I'm not surprised, they approached me a few months ago asking if I would be willing to post my reviews on their site. I like their "Pips per week" idea. I'll have to do that, too.

Competition is good, we can steal each other's ideas now.

Plus it will be nice to know there is someone else out there having as much trouble with these things as I am. I will be very interested in seeing how they overcome the platform stability problems I ran into.

And this is interesting - looking at their Forex Automated Grail review on Alpari compared to mine, I've had 2 trades and they've had dozens. Why? What's the difference? Mine is setup properly....

FPA's Megadroid account appears to be trading way outside of the Asian session. I stopped watching their Mega demo account (I've been tracking several others, too). I'm not sure about their other EAs, but the Mega results aren't reliable--they aren't following the right GMT setting.

Interesting. I think they will have some growing pains (as did I) but should start to get their act together once people start reporting issues (like all my great members do for me!)

I guess I will have to fire up my other two servers and start testing some more robots. There's nothing like throwing more hardware at a problem!

Somebody changed there GMT Offset on the 8th, its now trading 7 hours early. I've posted this in several places on their site.

Their reviews are great and very helpful, except that their are a lot of cronic complainers on their site. Their EA testing however has a lot improve. Its not conected to their forum very well, we're not always aware of the settings they use, and its hard to make comparisons between EA's. Its like this general forum, with the EA testing as an aside.
