Nick of N4.0 fame (intrepidfs.com) has released his 5.0 version, it has done 4 $2 winners on my $500 demo today already. It is clean and sharp EA, uses multi-periodicities, previously figured-out NN, and Chaos-Theory TA. Not sure live-demo (or live$$) will do as well as it shows on test "statement" (lower right link on front-page, test shows 8X on $500 or $1,000 demo account, "say what!!! ) but I open a $10 account at IBFX soon (will take around 10 days as I send check) to try that too. Wow, can you imagine if something even near 8X in just 2 weeks is true, even if 2X in couple of weeks I be ultra happy!
I bought it about a year ago on eBay for $150 when it was optimizing type unit at version 4.0, been thru a lot of testing with his previous versions thru 4.71 on 'n off throughout the year, but now, who knows, w/o optimizing and he finally took deep study of way to do small trend catching AND he has enough honor not to charge more for old customers and not raise price much yet for new, like Wo! Possibilities!

Hi Batch,

somehow the intrepid-guys didn´t manage to give me proper clearence to post on their support forum... maybe you can give me a hint reg. NN5.0: I can start NN5.0 correctly with my name an serial. It does it´s thing connecting and says all OK. When I try a backtest, I get the typical AlpariUK-5Digit-OrderOpenError130, even though I modified all obvious pip-regarding settings x10. Do you use a 5Digit Broker by any chance?
Everything else on the support forum: NN5.0 seems quite Beta at the moment, doesn´t it? There are a pile of problems, that sound rather basic to me - the divide by 0, eternally open pending orders...

My unit was showing 5-digit by Saturday, and "it seems" it's ok, it just closed a trade while I was looking at it, one that opened Friday. It seemed strange that the OHLC in upper left of chart was still 4-digit, so I re-booted MT4 and it went to 5-digit.
I kinda not sure to hold-out hope here as my back-tests don't match what Nick has on his site, and when I emailed an attached report I got no reply whereas in the past he always had, so not sure this is another sad NN wild-goose-chase.

I hope it´s not. The 5.1 version seems to be released shortly. Today is a lazy day anyway - meanwhile I try to fight myself through the initial optimization of 4.71 to test that one too.

I WAS talking N5.0, you haven't downloaded and started it yet?
I could never get anywheres with 4.7 "stuff", too often long-term losers arrive even though "optimized", you know if anyone gets anywhere with those?

Yes, NN5.0, but no trades yet, no backtest possible due to the error 130 (SL, TP , TS set to x10)...
But Nick said in his Forum today, the 5.1 is testet with Alpari UK and will be released today... let´t see.

I dropped the 4.71 again. Even the "Alpari UK optimized" version is too old. Was befor the change to 5 digits and there are no parameters for changing SL , TP , TS...

Sounds familiar, I recall this 130 doing tests with N5, but I don't remember what I did to get rid of it, as I was able to get it testing with no such journal report, but as I say, test wasn't any good like on website.
