Yesterday was once of the worst days of performance by TFOT. Most of the trades it did resulted in red pips. I had also Wallstreetforex running. Both bots seemed to make only bad decisions. I hope that this first day of trading with Tfot in this year will not be exemplary for 2012.

Well, the month is still young.

I don't like what I am seeing. Every EA can have bad days... but,

What I am noticing is that there is a major difference between my demo account and my live/real money account. Yesterday, my demo account dropped about 2% and my live account dropped almost 10%. Meanwhile the demo account EURUSD has a higher risk percent.

The same thing happened on my live/demo account. It was a massacre on live account, but demo was not harmed that bad. If it keeps up like this, I will switch to copying the trades from the demo to the live account, much like the FH strategy.

Not me,

If this keeps up, I will get a refund. I have 30 days and I just need to figure out what the expiry is. It would be a good test of Iticsoftware. According to this page (at the bottom), they offer

My license issue is still not solved. Keep getting error messages ("Please register"). Frustrating.

Contacting Iticsoftware again. This only happens with last version, I did not have this problem with v2.0.

I compared TFOT trades on several Myfxbook's. I cannot find a similar trade between them, they all behave differently. It seems that version 2.0 is doing better than the latest one.

My 30 days have expired, so no refund for me. But I would hate to lose this EA because of license prob. It is the first EA that I like because of reasons stated in post nr 1.

I know how frustrating TFOT's licensing can be. It's terrible.

For me, it will all come down to what happens this coming week. I purchased on Dec 21 so my 30 days are up on Jan 20. Backup a couple of days to process the refund request so on Jan 18, I will have to make up my mind. If TFOT has continued to dig itself out of the hole it put itself in, I may keep it. If it goes back to -10% or deeper, it's a goner. 30 days is just not enough time to make an informed decision and with the EA being so expensive, I can't take the chance of spending a lot of money on another lackluster EA (story of my life).

I granted Boris Fesenko access to my VPS. I do not know how he did it, but he fixed the license problem for me. From now on I copy trades from Alpari Demo to my real account. Better price feed, better trades (hopefully).

Once again today's trades of TFOT are completely different. It did not do too well on the official myfxbook, but yours seemed to do ok. I agree that a month is not long enough. But what about the backtests you ran? They showed pretty impressive results with 90% quality.

I am glad that your license issue has been solved,

TFOT had another tiny gain for me today in my live/real money account meanwhile my demo had a 4% gain.

That is why a lot of people say backtests are worthless.
