Perhaps it is better to wait after the weekend, when the market volume picks up again. The official TFOT does not show profit in the two weeks "bracketing" New Year. It will take GoMarkets until Sun for the funds to get in the account. GoMarkets is not the fasest nor the slowest in this area. So timing wise, I think it will be at the opening bell next week before I will be ready. Maybe longer because I have to confirm with GoMarkets that the leverage

will be set at 500:1. That may take a day or two.

Megadroid... What's that? I stopped using that years ago. Now you know why.

This is an older account you are reusing? There must be another EA running there, because TFOT does not have pending orders.

I seriously hope that this EA will restore my faith in EA's. What I like about it: promising backtests, no hazardous trading techniques, no overnight blow-up danger, decent support.

I do not fully understand it's logic. I 'd understand if only first face orders would be different on brokers because of difference in price feeds. But 2nd face positions are also different. I would have expected longer term trades to be the same because they are based on lagging indicators. Must be wrong assumption.

It is an older live/real money account,

I opened it in Apr of 2011 and it was my first Genial account. I am surprised that MyFXBook has retained the old history even though it's a new MyFXBook account number. I will set a custom start date to eliminate the Genial history.

There are no other EA' s running on the account currently. That pending order is for MyFXBook. Remember, you need to setup a pending order with a custom comment to verify trading privileges. I just deleted that pending order because MyFXBook has given the account two green check marks.

I hope you are right about the no overnight blow-up danger. After all, one of the faces is a scalper.

I also hope it performs as well on a live/real money account as on the backtest. I would settle for closely performing as on a backtest. I also hope that the performance on GoMarkets is just as good as the vendor's account on Alpari US. It should not be that much different but we will see.

It seems that I have a problem with TFOT's license too. After having the license reset, I am getting this error: "TFOT_DLL_3.1 USDCAD,M5: Please register! Expert function will work incorrectly in unregistered mode!" on both demo and live account. Restart of MT4 does not seem to help. Gonna have to contact the seller again, if this error persists.

Correction: after a few restarts of MT4 sessions, it seems ok for now. License seems a bit buggy.

That's an understatement.

After I had my license switched to my VPS. It seemed normal and then acted up almost as soon as I had logged off of my VPS. The license based on an IP address is prohibitive even if it is not buggy. That means that we cannot even have a demo or do any backtests on another machine. Heck, I had to register the IP address of a PC just to do a fu*kin backtest. The license model should not even kick-in on a demo account.

I completely agree. Unstable EA's should not be sold. Version 3.0 contained a bug that caused trades on eurusd be closed immediately by usdcad. That happened on my live account! It was down 500 eur in one hour because of that. It could have been more. I was afraid of running it any longer. After I complained they released v3.1.
Now this licensy bug. I have asked for support once again. Itic software needs to learn to unbug their software before releasing it.
