Blessing 3 EURUSD L27 Set

This review is about running the Blessing 3 EA (version 3.9.5) on EURUSD charts using the L27 set files from Caalador (on the J Talon forum). My thanks to Galaxy here for pointing out this combination. I have no affiliation with anyone in conjunction with this review.

I downloaded the EA from here and downloaded the set files from here (you need to be registered to download from the J Talon forum).

In this strategy, you set up four EURUSD H1 charts and apply the specific set file to each chart. The strategy involves hedging so you will need a non-NFA broker . I attached all four charts to an Alpari UK demo account along with a separate chart with ddmon attached to monitor the floating DD.

The setup is fairly complex. Two of the set files need to have changes made to them. In addition, every set file needs to have the lot size entered. This strategy does not use MM.

The setup is fairly complex. Two of the set files need to have changes made to them. In addition, every set file needs to have the lot size entered. This strategy does not use MM.

I just set the standard money settings (for a 1000 balance account) files on a 3.000 account.

Here the description from caalador how to change:

How to adjust for starting balance different from $1000

Calculate the following:

HedgeStart = 0.25 / (your balance / 1000)
hReEntryPC = 0.4 / (your balance / 1000)

For example, if your balance is 2000$:
2000/1000=2
0.25 / 2 = 0.125

1. Open Set1Left's settings (press F7 while on the chart where this setfile is applied)
2. change HedgeStart to whatever came out of above formula
3. change hReEntryPC to whatever came out of above formula
4. Do the exact same for Set2Left

Hi Armin,

The reason I said that the setup was fairly complex is that you end up changing the HedgeStart and the hReEntryPC on only two of the four set files. I made the mistake of modifying all four files and had to close all the open trades and start again.

One thing only briefly covered is the lot size which I use 2 mini's (0.20) per thousand on the left side and 1 mini per thousand on the right side (the set files are divided into left and right side... whatever that means).
