The opening sentence is hilarious: ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. How's that for a sales pitch? So I gather that you are a Delphi programmer?
The one question that I had difficulty answering is percent of equity for safety net. I suppose that is another way of asking what kind of max. DD is desired.
Very nice tool.

Thanks,

That opening blurb is a requirement of the GPL. All GPL programs are required to state this. Not my idea but I'm glad you found it amusing.

A Delphi programmer. No. I used it years ago and it's just something that I picked back up recently. I know many languages.

Actually, that question is worded improperly. It can't be the percentage of equity because the amount of equity is not known. I'll need to re-word that.

I realized that there is a math bug (at least one) in the program. It's only calculating one set of max trades instead of two. That's why the numbers are so low. I'll fix this and post the update.

Hi and Welcome,

Be careful with FXCM. The leverage they offer is not that high (about 200:1, right?) and as a result, accounts get blown all the time. The last demo of DWRR on ForexFBI running 6 pairs on a FXCM demo at 200:1 blew up last week. My demo with the same settings is still running using FXPrimus at 500:1.

thanks for your info, YES, leverage of FXCM is 200:1. It seems i should drop FXCM.
Have you tried FH on FXOpen? forexfbi said FXOpen is the best broker for forex hacked.

Leverage when using Forex Hacked is very important. Anything less than 500:1 will eventually cause problems. You may be able to get away with 400:1 but that is it.

Yes, I am well aware of Forex FBI's broker recommendation. FxOpen is not really a good choice. It's ok and may be ok but they play games with the leverage like a lot of brokers. Read this which is from their site. On a standard account (minimum deposit $25), the allowed leverage can be 500:1 for balances up to 25K. They don't say what happens after that. For Micro accounts, maximum balance is 3K. If you go over that, the leverage is reduced to 5:1

Bottom line, if you stay between $25-25,000, you should be ok. If you stray outside of this, your cooked.

I have been doing a lot of testing with FXPrimus which has (as far as I know) no restrictions on 500:1 leverage . No floating leverage that changes according to your open lots, no floating leverage that changes according to your account balance.

It's very import info, thanks.
I did a initial test on FXOpen and FXPrimus, found that profit will "follow" the start date of FH. Different start date, different profit, even same seting, same initial deposit.
if the enter day is 20100101, with $1000 deposite you can get a big profit.
if the enter day is 20110901, with $5000 the account will blow up.
FH always need a big fund to guard account safety, but in reality several thunsound may be proper for us small account. Thus we must find a good start date.

FXPrimus can only download GBPUSD history data from 2011.8.26 to current(their support also said this), that's bad for backtest. I try to satrt from 20110901 with a $5000 deposite and it blow up at 20111012.

FXOpen can download full GBPUSD history data. It never blow up with $5000 deposite, I tried many start date. BUT, the FH canot run in demo accout and said "Invalid ticket". I donnt know why.

I know why FXOpen said "Invalid ticket", actually here should be "Invalid volumn", for FXOpen can only support 0.1 minimal lots.

They said they have mini account with 0.001 minimal lots, but no demo account.

That makes FXOpen unacceptable to people wanting to run a demo of Forex Hacked. I was going to start a demo with them and compare them to FXPrimus and Alpari UK.

Thanks for the information,
Rick
