This review is about the Atipaq EA. This is another EA from Asirikuy.com. You need to be a member to obtain this EA. I have no affiliation with anyone in conjunction with this review.
I am running Atipaq on it's full portfolio which is six pairs: EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, NZDUSD and GBPUSD. All of these charts are H1.
I set up a GoMarkets demo account after reading (on the Asirikuy site) the performance stats of a similar setup (except their's is a live/real money account). Their account is doing really well at almost 9% per month (at risk 1, see below for my risk) over almost eight months at less than 9% DD. Note that I am not allowed by the EA author to post a link to the MyFXBook live/real money account stats. The author says that the performance stats links are for paying members only. I think that policy is asinine but I guess it takes all kinds.
I am not sure what strategy Atipaq uses to enter and exit trades.
Here is a review with a complete description of Atipaq's trading strategy.
This Atipaq portfolio is very diversified and I think this is a reason why the DD is so low.
I am running Atipaq at double the risk (2) of the set files I downloaded. I am interested to see how much the DD increases when the risk is increased.
GoMarkets claims that the demo account is only good for 30 days. I hope that this is not the case as I will need 3 months to properly evaluate Atipaq and GoMarkets.
20110406 Update:
In preparation of putting this EA on a live/real money GoMarkets account, I have stopped trading on the demo account. A screenshot of the MyFXBook stats of the demo account is attached. The demo account is from March 31st to April 6th.
Since the real money GoMarkets account has been set up, I have created the MyFXBook account. Note that there will be no history until my initial funding deposit clears.
20110407 Update:
Initial deposit funds are active and this live/real money GoMarkets account is now fully functional. I have set the initial risk at 1 (on each of the six pairs) for the time being.
