FireStorm Elite is the latest development from Bob Llewellyn, the creator of the Golden Grid. FireStorm is a trading system for traders looking for a hands-on approach and realistic expectations of relatively good returns each month.
This system is partially hedged taking a larger position in the direction of the trend . It incorporates a completely new and modified kind of martingale where some of those principals have been turmed on their heads. This aspect is employed to recover from a draw-down but in a unique way and cannot get out of hand by taking overly large lot sizes.
There is also a system reset where it will stop trading in the rare instance the market is oscilating very tightly. This allows the trader to review the markets and choose when to re-enter the market and with what commencing lot size.
Over the last twelve months this has been in development results have been pretty consistent and this latest demo account started in mid December based on the final production code shows its performance based on a $5000 starting account:

Two versions are being made available: One, the Elite version that is compatible with US based regulated brokerages that can be traded at any brokerage offering the MT4 platform and a free version of FireStorm that can be registered to users signing-up and funding their accounts at one of our listed brokerages via the on-site links.

The developers will be providing a regular market commentary and discuss anything of note that impacts FireStorm's performance and actions they are taking as traders on their own account.

To recap, The elite retains an internal hedge but just generates one trade as is compatible with NFA registered USA brokers. This version can be run at any MT4 brokerage.

This demo account has recently entered recovery mode. Periodically this will happen. Historical testing has shown time between recovery does vary but on average it is around every 15 months.
Recovery usually takes 6 weeks or so and aims to also make up for the earnings expected in the intervening period.
The multi currency version upgrade is now incorporated here. This diversification helps reduce risk and also aids recovery.

Applying the multi-currency version over the original release has thrown up a conversion issue that was not identified to date with beta testing. This has affected the demo trading results during its recovery mode of operation.
Luckily this issue with the multi currency upgrade to the original version is not live yet for users and the issue is being resolved and will be further tested prior to official release.
Unfortunately it means we have egg on our faces as we didn't want to be in a position of having such an issue leading to having to restart a new demo, but that is going to be the reality. The issue wouldn't have affected new users going straight to the multi-currency version.
With the launch of the multi-currency version it is expected that a live account will be made public for you to follow.

Just to let you all know, FireStorm Elite has just received a major update. Traders feedback has led to the addition of multiple currencies as well as a raft of trader settings now incorporated to make this a dynamic tool for those with some fx trading experience.
As a semi-automatic EA, traders need to make inteligent decisions as to how to get the most out of it. The developer has started to run a topic of the week on the personalinvestorplan site forum to help traders understand the potential of this system and to provide pointers on how to trade with it. This is based on the developer's personal experience trading this system.
