I finally went ahead and got a refund because by the fifth update to the robot it was a totally different trading system than I had originally purchased and was not profitable at multiple brokers.

The author was very nice though. He even told me despite the refund that I could continue to use the robot at another broker to try and make up for my losses instead of him deactivating it since I had lost money with it. He seemed sincere, which I have found to be rare in this business.

It very typical that an EA is profitable on a demo account and behaves completely different on a live/real money account. Most scalpers behave exactly this way.

BTW, what broker does this EA developer use with his own EA? What broker does he recommend?

As you know the FPA test was at FXCH. I now doubt the performance they saw unless FXCH was giving them the demo price feed because I brought my $2000 account to $30,000,000 in a couple weeks at 5% risk. Their demo feed is completely different from their live feed. I truely think they are a scam broker .

He doesn't use FXCH anymore though. He uses FxPro now and sent me some statements showing profits (not like the FPA account though, he claims 5-10% weekly). As a US client I couldn't get an account there so I never tried them. He also recomended MBT but I didn't go with them either since the leverage is 50:1 for me.

Hi Dan,

Does he have an account with a statement hosting service like MT4i or MyFXBook? or does he just use the detailed statement from MT4?

Remind me, how much does he want for the EA?

I think it is just the detailed statement from MT4. It just shows trades with percentages and drawdowns with a graph showing account balance history.

He wants $499 for the robot and that is through Plimus. I don't think he does the 60 day money back guarantee anymore. You would have to ask him. I think Plimus gives you 30 days though.

It is a different robot now than the one on the FPA test. You still attach it to a GBP/USD chart but now a 1 hour chart instead of a 1 minute one. It trades all of the majors automatically from the one chart using your market watch window.

Thanks for the Info Dan,

Since the author has changed the EA significantly, I think it is too early to consider a purchase. I will try and keep an eye on this EA although without published data to view, it makes it difficult.
