Rick, I wanted to add this bot to my micro account with a lower risk, to see how it does. I am still running droid on the account. Would there be a FIFO problem in your opinion due to the fact that they both trade EURUSD (although on different time frames)?

Also, any thoughts on Forex Growth Bot?

What's droid,

If you mean MegaDroid, there will not be an issue. MD only manipulates it's own trades (by currency pair and magic). As far as NFA rules, I don't know. It's possible that you could get into trouble with both FIFO and hedging regs. The 50:1 leverage may also interfere.

Regarding FGB, I am not that impressed. It performs poorly over 10-11 year backtest. Right now, it seems to be doing well but that could change. See http://www.4xproject.com/index.php/f...rex_growth_bot

Hi Rick

I am running Move-v1 v1.6 on a demo account and noticed it had not placed any trades this week. It seems to have the same summershift/wintershift variables as TCS. How does v1.4 take this into consideration.

Also, do you allow for Fridays trades on this bot. My v1.4 on my micro account placed a trade and i was wondering if you had the same.

Hi Carlos,

Move_V1 V1.04 did not place any trades in my live/real money account this week. My demo account also running the same version was a different story. It completed one trade (at a loss of 22.5 pips) and opened another which is still open.

V1.04 has no summershift/wintershift. I don't know how this version handles the DST time shift. I don't think it's important because V1.04 has no day/time filtering. This capability must have been added after V1.04.

I trade all days with one day a month exception. That is NFP. On the Thu night before NFP (if there is no open trade), I shut down trading completely on my live/real money account. No Move_V1 and no Teyacanani.

Got it! Thanks for the info Rick. I'll go back to the tradingsystemforex forum and do some digging on the trading discrepancies. I just wanted to clarify a couple of errors in my last post -

1. I am running move-v1 1.04 live on my forex.com micro account with the settings in post#1
2. I have move-v1 1.06 on my tdfx, cfx and atc account with the same settings
3. My demo accounts (v1.06) placed no trades
4. My live account placed the following trades:

Looks Highly Variable,

My live account had trades with open on Mar 3, 16 & 17. Demo trades on Mar 3, 16, 17 & 25. Backtest trades on 3, 24 & 25. All of this with the same version and the same broker .

Confirm that your settings are ok by doing a backtest. Other than that, there is nothing more to do.

Pipcop - Why exactly was this EA stopped? What sort of risj were you running on it, it took off fast but gave it back just as quickly. I'm still trying to understand how this works exactly, the code is complicate.

It was me that ran the Move_V1 demo, not Pipcop.

Everything you need to know about this demo is in this thread including the set file I used and the reasons for stopping this EA from trading.
