Default Pips Miner Gold

This review is about the Pips Miner Gold EA. I have no affiliation
with anyone in conjunction with this review.

I got this EA from my4xstore.com. It got a $100.00 coupon code for this EA which is good because this EA is expensive at 399 Euros.

This EA includes all three Pips Miner strategies which were (and still are) sold separately. There is LE (Light Edition), SE (Standard Edition) and EE (Extended Edition). As far as I understand it, there are minor differences in each strategy.

Pips Miner Gold trades on a EURUSD M5 chart. The EA requires a license number as well as the user ID and password of the member account (at my4xstore.com). It's trades the London session 8-5 GMT. It is not a scalper.

Pips Miner Gold has no money management (MM). You have to fill in a lot size. There is a lot size calculator on the my4xstore.com member area.

I set the starting equity to the same as my current live account balance.

I have set this EA to trade the EE strategy at the maximum recommended lot size of 0.06 (based on the starting equity). This will cause a problem for me as this starting lot size is less than the minimum allowed lot size in my live account. If Pips Miner makes it to live trading, I will need about 10K in equity to trade at the minimum lot size for a classic Alpari UK account.

This EA has been a looser ever since it started trading a demo account on Aug 15. It has been pulled from the demo account and I have asked for a refund from my4xstore.com.

Default No Response to Email Refund Requests

So far, I have sent two emails to my4xstore.com requesting a refund of my Pips Miner Gold purchase price. So far, there has been no response to my request.

So much for the satisfaction guarantee that the EA website advertises.

Default my4xstore.com Deception

No refund of this EA for me. Myfxstore.com finally responded (almost two weeks later). Here is a transcription of the email:

Regardless of what my4xstore.com says, their policy (which is not posted anywhere) is not standard practice.

Take my advice from someone who got burnt. Do not buy anything from my4xstore.com. They lie and are deceptive.

Rick,

That is ridiculous. I also read the webpage and the only thing that was clearly stated was the 100% satisfaction guarantee, they said nothing about what was in this email. I am with you about never buying anything from them again.

They look like scammers. It's not the best choice for EA!
