I stopped using the Photon after facing a 50% drawdown

. During some kind of market conditions the robot is doing well but during difficult trading conditions it produces really scary draw downs.

I have removed Forex Photon Evo from trading.

In the many months I have been demo trading this EA and the brief period I dared to live trade it, the EA has proven itself to be very chaotic. As an example, shortly after I upgraded the EA to Evo, the EA had a massive losing trade where it lost 60.09% of equity in one trade. True, I was running Evo at 10% risk but even at 1%, that would be over 6% loss.

The MyFXBook account will remain for a brief period while I get Leo Trader Pro running properly. Once I get LTP running, I will delete the Forex Photon MyFXBook account.

Just after I removed Forex Photon from trading and deleted the MyFXBook account, I received an email from Photon support:

With out even knowing whether it is an issue with Photon or the Broker , how can you comment like this? And the max DD we have ever encountered is 28%, I don know how someone else got 50%, of course he would have used higher risk percent than 10% in that case. Evo is the best update that has happened to Photon, with so much of effort we put into it. You don't have to appreciate it, but atleast don't leave false comments.

It's obvious from the above email transcription that Photon support:
1. Did not read the entire review here.
2. Has no idea what brokerage I was using for my demo account
3. Had over 4 months to make their comments known and choose the time right after I had given up on their EA.

I did not bother to reply to their last statement as it is clear they don't know what they are talking about and have no interest in the facts of the demo account I ran for over 4 months.
